Seven years married. Twelve years together. And somehow, I still feel like I won the lottery with you.

There is truly no better man for me. You are my best friend, my soulmate, the most incredible father, our provider, my biggest support system, my confidant, and the person I want beside me through every version of this life.

We’ve grown so many ways—I’m so glad we didn’t listen when people said we wouldn’t make it. Look at the life we would have missed out on. We have weathered the hard seasons, and celebrated the beautiful ones. And through it all, you have remained the person I can laugh with, lean on, learn from, and come home to.

As we step into another year together, my hope for our next decade is simple: more time. More time to explore the world, learn new things, slow down, laugh until we cry, and truly cherish each other and this life we’ve built.

12 years of us. 7 years as husband and wife. A lifetime still doesn’t feel like enough.

Four years ago tomorrow, after four long days of labor, you finally made your way into my arms. It feels impossible that the days I counted so carefully leading up to your birth have now turned into four years of memories.

We’ve had our struggles. We’ve learned together, cried together, celebrated together, and grown together. It hasn’t always been easy, but it has been the most beautiful, wild ride of my life.

Somehow the nights felt endless, yet the years have passed in the blink of an eye.

You have changed me in every possible way. Loving you has been the greatest privilege and the greatest adventure I’ll ever know. I love you more than life itself, and I would choose you a thousand times over.
