10 Alternative Australian artists w/ under 10,000 listeners! Some of our personal favourite rising artists here in our own backyard!, Give them all a listen via our Local Grown Metal Playlist on Spotify! 🖤#alternativemusic

Hailing from The Sunshine Coast, Courbé have been quickly releasing some of our favourite more subdued sounds of alternative music, with only 4 songs at the moment they really speak quality over quantity!

No harm have been shaking up the Northside of Brisbane this last year with their first demo, strong definitive tones and solid riffs coming from these guy’s!

This may be an older track from Citadel but it has always been a stand out through all their discography and a personal favourite, definitely other incredible tracks on their most recent EP ‘Limbo’, Eons just speaks volume…

Similar to citadel in the way they definitely have other incredible tracks in our books but aftermath stands out heavily with its intense feeling as the mood fluctuates emotions, incredible music from silverfang consistently!

Having been only 1 day since Violent Conflict dropped ‘Molotov’ it sits at the top of our list at the moment! it is a brute of a track, with some ear shaking sounds when it drops, a must if you need a good pump track at the gym!

Insect have been doing this for a little bit longer than most considering their visibility and outreach, they are a solid heavy hitter in the industry at the moment but we wish they got more recognition than the do! Underrated band of the lot for sure.

DisKust is gradually making ground in the scene and soon almost can’t be on these list themselves, this last album and tour has shown their strength and ability to consistently deliver both on record and live on stage, dedicated bunch for sure!

For their second release these were some stellar tracks and unbelievably clean production, their traction in the industry is definitely picking up pace in and around Brisbane!

From allll the way in Toowoomba we have Deprived Of who are quite a unique wildcard sound to us lately, the mixed vocals and changing tempos are an interesting twist within their discography.
