Forgot to post this but I read a new book called “The Long Lived King”. Written by @danaterrace and @meekkee and illustrated by @din_du_99. This beautifully illustrated well written novel is part of “The Owl House” trilogy, one of my favorite shows. This book takes place 2 years after the evil emperor Belos is defeated and centers around King gripping with his immortality and knowing one day Luz and Eda won’t be by his side. In doing so he tries to erase his bad memories but accidentally removes all of Luz’s memories. So with help from Eda and The collector, King must restore his adopted sister’s memories before she loses them forever. This novel is not just for Owl House fans, it’s also about family, gripping with mortality, enjoying life while you can, and knowing that even if the ones you love are gone, remembering them whether they’re good or bad memories is how we learn, grow, and hold them close to our hearts. We also get to see old characters return and man there were some funny and heartfelt messages with them. If you’re interested in this book, I’d recommend watching The Owl House first on Disney Plus! #theowlhouse #boilingisles #art #thelonglivedking #toh by @falveyevan

Finally got the chance to see Coyote vs ACME in theatres today by @ketchupentertainment and man it was a solid film. I’ve been hearing a lot about the rollercoaster ride this film went through over the years including it being shelved and being brought back thanks to loads of people advocating for its release. It’s beautifully animated, funny, and heartfelt! If you haven’t gotten a chance to see it in theatres please do it now and show the people who worked so hard on this film some love! #coyotevsacme #ketchupentertainment #animation #looneytunes #warnerbros by @falveyevan

The Lovers is a beautifully animated and colorful adult animated short film created by @studioheartbreak and I remember watching the trailer a couple years back and following the studio on Instagram. Forgot to say I watched the film a couple of days ago and boy was it worth the wait! The animation and colors are breathtaking, the story was solid, and there were some scenes which gave me one hell of a jumpscare. All I can say is this film was well worth the wait! Go check it out on Studio Heartbreak’s official YouTube account! #animation #thelovers #studioheartbreak #art #mermaids by @falveyevan

Couple of drawings I did for two blogs I finished and waiting approval to be shared for a website my Reptile Lab Group is a part of and working on. Decided to chose these Mesozoic beasts for my blogs. Me and many others have been working hard on our own blogs and we can't wait to show them to people when the website is ready! Not much I want to say on the website but I'll tell ya it's gonna be awesome! For a while now, I've been trying to come up with ideas for a story on prehistoric animals that involves 2d animation (with some 3d elements) and rated for young adult to adult audiences. One that encompasses lots of up to date sciences/research with help from paleontologists, the fossil record, and paleo artists , gorgeous animation, vibrant color, even pacing, looking at modern animal behavior, likeable/lovable characters and personalities. As well as incorporating strong wordless storytelling and instead using art, music, and animation tell the story. Most of all however, I want NO AI to be part of making this or any of my other ideas for films and shows.

I also want it to be picked up on by directors who have a lot of experience in the animation and storytelling industry because I know one crucial thing about animation and storytelling, and that it can take a very long time. I also want to help out with in what I want to be included/ not included in the film.

My film idea is called "Tuba". Set in Dinosaur Provincial Park in Alberta, Canada, it tells the story of a lone Parasaurolophus named, well, Tuba! The film follows him as he traverses through the vast landscapes of Cretaceous Canada as he's looking for a herd of his own kind but instead finds and joins up with a group of other differently crested hadrosaurs. He also tries to doge stalking tyrannosaurids, rock and mudslides, and many more dangers the prehistoric world has to offer.

I want to "Tuba" and many of my other film/tv show ides to consist of dark elements like blood, gore, and in some cases hard to watch scenes.

My idea for this film was inspired by various nature and paleo documentaries, my love and admiration for animation, storytelling, and prehistoric beasts, as well as looking at other animated films and tv shows like "Bambi", "Amphibia", "Land Before Time", "Owl House" "Disney's Dinosaur", "Primal", "Gravity Falls", and "The Lion King".

These concept art images were done by me btw!

Ya know after binge watching Dragon Striker, I’ve been wondering what if the show’s creators were to include prehistoric animals into the series. So I immediately thought of Pachycephalosaurus. This bipedal, plant munching, dome headed beast measured over 14 feet in length and weighed nearly 1,000 lbs. It also lived in Late Cretaceous North America alongside other Cretaceous icons like Tyrannosaurus rex and Triceratops. Thanks to the fossil record of injuries being found on their skulls, we know the purpose of its dome was for head butting each other for mates and dominance. So imagine if the show were to include this thing in the series, ideally someone riding it like horse. A fast moving powerfully built grizzly bear sized herbivore with possible omnivorous tendencies with a battering ram for a head that could take off a car door in a full on charge. Just a thought… To @sylvainchouette. Figure from Creative Beasts Studio. #disneydragonstriker #pachycephalosauruswyomingensis #beastsofthemesozoic #disneytvanimation 🐲🐲 by @falveyevan
