Wow… Howard, where has the time gone.

These past four years have shown me so much about myself.

Proverbs 31:25

Howard, thank you for pushing me, refining me, and helping me grow. As a student-athlete on the Women’s Track & Field team, I’ve learned discipline, resilience, and how to keep going even in moments that challenged me mentally, physically, and emotionally.

From Bermuda to DC, this journey has been filled with growth, faith, and purpose.

I’m so grateful to be graduating Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Media, Journalism, Film & Communications, with a minor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexualities Studies.

Thank you to everyone who supported me, challenged me, and poured into me along the way. I truly wouldn’t be here without God and my village 💐❤️

This post has been long overdue, but this summer I had the opportunity to intern with Hidden Empire Film Group! 🎬

It was such an amazing experience working alongside so many talented creatives and film industry professionals. Throughout my internship, I worked on script coverage, content development, event logistics and organization, and had the opportunity to conduct interviews during the Summer League Film Festival.

I learned so much, and the experience opened my eyes even more to the film industry, especially in Los Angeles. I’m so grateful for all the amazing people I met along the way. Thank you, @hiddenempirefilmgroup , for having me and allowing me to learn, grow, and be a part of such a great experience! 🤍✨ taken in Los Angeles, California by @famerunner

Saying goodbye to my first love,

Honestly, I don’t even know where to start, but I’ll try to keep this short.

Track, thank you. Thank you for all the experiences, opportunities, and people you’ve gifted me with over the years. I couldn’t be more grateful for the community and family this sport brought into my life.

Thank you to all of my coaches for their knowledge, guidance, and belief in me throughout my journey. Thank you to my family for always being my biggest cheerleaders, and to my friends and teammates for the constant love, support, and encouragement along the way. And most importantly, thank you God for placing me on this path.

My heart is filled with so much love for this sport. I wish I could post more than 20 pictures because there are just too many memories to fit into one post.

Track has been a huge part of my life for such a long time, but I’m finally letting it go and stepping into a new chapter.

A sport that gave me purpose, discipline, lifelong friendships, and family, memories I’ll carry close to my heart forever❤️.
