Wow, I’m officially a marathoner!!! That was easily the hardest thing I’ve ever done (completely optional btw), and I’m so glad it’s over. Here’s a lil insight of how it went down, my phone had low battery so I couldn’t even get more videos.Huge thanks to @fatfiction helping me get over the line, couldn’t have done it without you 🥰#manchestermarathon by @fanchu.uk

This is absolutely insane to say, I can’t believe it. Two entire years, not a sip of alcohol or other substances. I’m super proud of where I’ve managed to get to because it was really bad and I was definitely heading in the wrong direction. I’ve got so many horror stories of things that I’ve done, none of which I’m proud of but I don’t think many people know the severity of how it can get. This wasn’t a post I thought I’d have to make until I was at least 50…I’ve always had a complex relationship with my mother but this news hit me so unexpectedly and I’m learning how to live on without you. 3 weeks ago I got the call to say my mother had died and I was truly in a state of shock that I’ve never felt before.It was also the same weekend that my friend from my hometown was murdered so understandably, I’ve just been in such a weird headspace mentally.I always had hope that my mother would be able to turn her life around and I’d be able to show her cool places around the world and have a life worth living and now that opportunity has been pulled away from me.In April, I will be running the manchester marathon. Originally I signed up to this just to attempt it but now I have a clear purpose. I’ll be putting up a gofundme soon for charity donations (Charity TBC) and to help my family with funeral costs. by @fanchu.uk
