My most ambitious needlepoint project to date just came back from being framed. I have no idea how many hours went into stitching this, but I must say I’m really proud of it. Ikat is one of my favorite patterns so when I saw this canvas from @sct_designs it was an immediate add to cart. The burl wood frame and beautiful matting from @jerrysartarama in Dallas are the icing on the cake. 😍

This weekend was one for the books! The @morganjuliadesigns pop-up lived up to all the hype and then some! Love that it brought some of my StitchTok friends to Dallas so we could finally meet in person. The needlepoint community is the best thing about this hobby!

Made this video for a friend who’s learning to basketweave to create a needlepoint belt so sharing in case it helps anyone else. 💗

Finished my first needlepoint magnet! Love this canvas from @morganjuliadesigns - the beads I added are my favorite part!

Now for a crispy Diet Coke to celebrate! ❤️

Obsessed with my visit to @howdyhoneyneedlepoint last weekend just like I knew I would be! The shop girls were the sweetest, too! So excited to get this canvas that’s been on my wishlist 😍

Houston needlepoint tour 🎀🪡✨

Yesterday was basically my version of the PERFECT day — hopping from one needlepoint shop to the next all over Houston!

🪡 The Needle House
🪡 Courtly Canvas
🪡 Chandail Needlework
🪡 Nimblefingers
🛍️ Plus a little stop at Cottage Grocery because obviously I can’t pass up a cute shop!

So many canvases, threads, ideas, and things I absolutely did not know I needed. 😂 I loved seeing how different each shop was — and yes, I managed to find something everywhere I went!

Houston, you did not disappoint! 💕🧵

More to come today!

Had the best day with @sequinlalastitches a couple weeks ago @savilleneedleworks in Dallas. She helped us plan out our canvases, taught new techniques, and helped us kit canvases. I am a groupie for sure now! Lauren is pure magic! Was so fun to see some social media friends IRL, too!

I sent this photo of my latest needlepoint finish to my mom earlier.

She said I could use a manicure.

Classic. 😆

Naturally, she also told me it was beautiful because she’s my hype girl, too.

Such a fun afternoon recently at Sadelle’s for Mahjong Social with the Marvelous Mrs. Mahjong! 🀄✨

We enjoyed delicious drinks, tea sandwiches, and the chance to meet so many wonderful new people while playing a few rounds of mahj.

This isn’t a lesson—it’s open play—so come ready with your 2026 National Mah Jongg League card and your tiles in tow. It’s the perfect way to spend an afternoon if you already know how to play and want to enjoy great food, great company, and a beautiful setting.

Can’t wait for the next one! 🤍

Gave my lampshade a no sew glow up today with some fabric I already had that I didn’t know what to do with. Love how it turned out!
