There’s something called the mirror effect in mothers of daughters… and once you see it, you can’t unsee it. 🪞🤍 Sometimes the things that trigger us most aren’t really about our daughters at all. They’re reflections of the little girls we used to be—the parts of ourselves we were told to quiet, change, toughen up, or grow out of. And suddenly, raising a daughter becomes more than raising her. It becomes realizing, “I never want her to feel the way I felt.” So you start watching the way you speak about your body. The way you apologize. The way you set boundaries. The way you allow yourself to take up space. Because she’s watching you… while somehow, you’re seeing yourself in her too. 🥹 Maybe raising our daughters is also an invitation to be a little softer with the girls we once were. 🎨✨ FROM COAT CLOSET TO CRAFT CLOSET! Because why have a boring coat closet when you can turn it into a little creative paradise?! 😍✂️ We took an old, underused coat closet and transformed it into our very own craft station! And when I tell you this little DIY project made me SO happy! There’s just something about making your home more functional while adding a little personality along the way! 🛠️ A little DIY magic: 🎨 Goodbye coats, hello creativity! 🖤 Custom walls on a budget! ✂️ Organized chaos, but make it cute! 🔨 A few tools and a whole lot of imagination! 🏡 Making every inch of our home count! 🖌️ THE WALL HACK: See those cute black stripes on the wall? I actually cut a sponge into the shape I wanted, dipped it in black paint, and stamped the pattern myself! No fancy wallpaper, no expensive tools, just a sponge, some paint, and a little patience! 🖤 And can we talk about how convenient it is having @homedepot right down the street?! Because when you’re halfway through a DIY project and realize you need another tool or supply, being five minutes away from everything you need is a lifesaver! 🛒🔨 Honestly, I’m convinced the best home transformations aren’t always the biggest ones. 🏈 We came for the football history… and somehow ended up in a family-wide competition for bragging rights. The College Football Hall of Fame in Atlanta was SO much more than we expected. It felt less like walking through a museum and more like stepping into the ultimate football playground.
