I took one of the simplest pieces in my wardrobe, a basic white tee, and styled it six different ways for six different moments in everyday life. From running errands and coffee dates to brunch and dinner, the foundation stays the same while a few thoughtful layers and accessories completely change the look.

This is why I always start with the basics. When the pieces in your wardrobe work well together, getting dressed becomes easier, more intentional, and a lot more fun. 🤎

Welcome to the first episode of Through Noemi’s Eye.

I thought we’d begin with my console table and some of the little details that brought it together for autumn.

The first thing I wanted was to keep this area feeling light and airy, so I started with this tall, polished silver vase. I love how beautifully it reflects the light and helps the entire space continue to feel bright.

From there, I carried that polished silver into my photo frames to create a sense of continuity.

But for me, where décor really begins to feel special isn’t simply in how beautiful something looks, it’s in the intention behind it.

I love filling our home with pieces that have meaning. Family photographs make the space personal, and even these dried flowers tucked into the frames hold a little memory and add character.

To balance the height of the vase, I brought in one of my favorite table lamps. It gives the other side of the console visual weight while adding that soft ambient light I love so much in the evenings.

And finally, I brought everything together with soft beiges and different textures. They add warmth against the polished silver and create exactly the feeling I wanted for our home this season:

coziness.

For me, that’s what decorating is really about, not simply collecting beautiful things, but carefully choosing pieces that create a feeling and tell a little bit of your story.

I’ve always believed that a beautiful home is about so much more than simply filling a room with beautiful things. 🤎

The spaces I love most are the ones that feel collected—where every piece has a reason for being there, a story behind it, or simply a feeling that made it worth bringing home.

That is what inspired my new series, Through Noemi’s Eye.

In each episode, I’ll invite you into a space and share more than just the finished room. I’ll take you through the pieces I’ve chosen, where some of them came from, why I was drawn to them, and the design decisions that helped bring everything together.

My hope is to share not only what I decorate with, but how I see a space and the feeling I hope to create within it.

Our first stop will be my living room, dressed for autumn. 🍂

Sometimes finding peace begins with acknowledging that we are only human. 🤍

For me, that means remembering that God is in control. That He came to save us from what we could never do for ourselves. There is so much peace in knowing that God simply wants our hearts; that we can trust Him with the things we cannot carry or control on our own.

I’m also learning that not everything needs to be rushed. We don’t have to constantly be somewhere, accomplish something, or keep up with the pace of the world around us.

Sometimes God is simply asking us to be present where He has already placed us.

For me, that means my family. More slow mornings. More time together. More pouring into our children and the people we love. More noticing the ordinary moments instead of rushing through them to get to the next thing.

Before shopping for fall clothes, follow this simple guide 🍂

Build your wardrobe around the basics first. You’ll save money, shop more intentionally, and have pieces you can mix and match all season long.

1. Start with your basic tops
Choose short- and long-sleeve basics in colors you’ll wear throughout the season: black, white, beige, and brown.

2. Add button-down shirts for layering
Stick to versatile neutrals like white, beige, brown, and black. Wear them alone or layered under sweaters and jackets.

3. Build your bottoms
Choose trousers in brown, black, white, beige, and gray, plus a great pair of dark-wash jeans.

4. Add feminine silk skirts
For dressier or more feminine days, choose silk or satin skirts in champagne, pearl, burgundy, and black.

5. Choose your autumn layers
A denim jacket, wool cardigan or sweater, brown blazer, and classic trench coat will take you through different temperatures and occasions.

6. Keep handbags simple: three sizes
Choose a small, medium, and large handbag so you have an option for everything from evenings out to everyday errands and busier days.

7. Finish with classic shoes

I’m starting a new project, and this one is taking me in a completely different direction than what you’re used to seeing from me.

This room is going to be much darker and moodier, with deep colors, polished silver finishes, touches of gold, and these beautiful, rich reds.

This is the mood board I created for the space, and even though these aren’t necessarily the colors I normally gravitate toward, I’ve really enjoyed bringing them together and finding a balance that still feels refined and intentional.
