I was busy in the kitchen this morning sampling a few new teas that just arrived, while the Tea Guy whipped up an impressive Afternoon Tea for us to enjoy today! On the menu were my fave: cucumber sammies with Irish butter (and a little garlic powder); he tried a new recipe for cucumber salad/dip we've been discussing and he put it into a croissant cut in half. Delish. He also made ham salad (served in in filo cups), cream puffs dipped in pink chocolate and topped with crushed strawberry shortbread! We also enjoyed strawberry milkshake pudding in mini chocolate tea cups, and a layered red white and blue mini dessert of puff pastry, house made whipped cream with fresh strawberries and blueberries. Oh and this months strawberry scones w clotted cream and jam. To drink, he had fentimans rose lemonade which he LOVES and we split a pot of chilled blackberry jasmine tea. It was amazing!
