From caveman to plague ghost… some characters just refuse to leave us alone. 👻🦷

We were thrilled to be back creating the teeth for Laurence Rickard as Robin the Caveman and Mathew Baynton as the Plague Ghost for the new Ghosts film.

And if they look familiar… there’s a reason. 👀

Our team previously created their teeth for the series, so it was brilliant to bring these characters back to life (or… afterlife?) for the big screen.

🦷 But here’s the question…

Which one would you rather have to make a dental appointment for — Robin or the Plague Ghost? 😂

Tell us your answer below 👇

From a sketch to the finished set of teeth… 🦷

Meet Ed Harwood — Head of the Mines, Silo season 3, played brilliantly by Ned Dennehy.

Ed was such a fun character to help to develop, and these teeth were one of those little details that helped bring his world to life.

Swipe to see the process — starting with our initial tooth design sketch ➡️ followed by the final teeth made by team @fangsfx.

A character starts on paper, but it’s the details that make them real.

Great to get another award nomination, this time from the wonderful @worcesterfilmfestival, another @bifa_film festival! This is for best hair and make up and we are incredibly proud of our team getting the recognition they very much deserve.
A huge amount of thought, time and hard work went into making the characters feel authentic. @eveycoles and @ashleighldnmakeup designed each character with a huge amount of research and incredible craft as the authenticity was crucial to get right. We enlisted the amazing @fangsfx to design a false set of teeth for Mum’s character. @emmakeele was the consummate professional doing all rehearsals in the teeth which gave her character so much more believability and pathos. And @joannevcoleman brought her art on the day, somehow working her magic in the most testing of conditions. Well done to you all! 👏

Now that’s what we call a glowing endorsement! 🦷✨

We were absolutely delighted to hear that Matthew Baynton loves our teeth so much that he’d like to be buried with them! 😂

So, we want to know: if you could choose one treasured possession to take with you, what would it be?

Tell us in the comments—the funniest and most unusual answers are encouraged! 👇

There’s something especially satisfying about creating teeth for a character that’s meant to feel unsettling. 👹🦷

For Hellboy: The Crooked Man, we created the Crooked Man’s teeth — designed to add that final bit of character every time he opened his mouth.

A small detail on screen, but one that makes a huge difference to the finished look.

🎬 A project we’re incredibly proud to have been part of!

A huge thank you to Barrie Gower and Amanda Knight for having us on board for Ebenezer.

We had the pleasure of creating custom teeth for several of the film’s characters, including the wonderful Johnny Depp.

It’s always an honour to contribute our craftsmanship to such talented teams and productions.

⚽️ A fantastic project to be part of! ⚽️

what a great time to be discussing England being so close to the World Cup

We created custom teeth for Joseph Fiennes, helping transform him into Gareth Southgate for this exciting new BBC production.

A huge thank you to makeup designer Bethany Swan for bringing us on board and making us part of such a talented team. It’s always a privilege to contribute to the character transformation process and see the finished result come to life on screen.
