How can 15 years feel like the blink of an eye but an eternity at the same damn time!? This story didn’t start on October 7. But a whole year into this conflict and it’s been crickets from my friends list. It’s been challenging to find the words to describe this incredible loss but a week has gone by and still nothing I’ve come up with does you justice. Patrick, you were more than a coworker to us. You were a cheerleader and motivator to always stay curious and think about what’s next. You were the life of the party and down for anything. Even if you rarely made it on time, you always showed up with a smile (and probably a bottle.) You had a knack for building relationships but still making everyone feel special and seen, and that’s evident in the amount of lives you touched and the people you’ve brought together. I always referred to you as “the best guy I know.” That will forever hold true and I’ll miss you until we meet again one day, my friend.
