It’s my birthday!! 🥳

Spending time today reflecting on my intentions and focusing on a positive present experience 👁️

I’ve posted a lot a lot of hooping on here and I like using this space as a visual marker and reminder of the experiences I’ve had - it’s a glimpse into my past life - so I want to document the realness of this past year.

Although I’ve been blessed with health and travel, I have had the most difficult past year. I had one struggle after the next and it really pulled me down into a spiral. Something personally very deep that I won’t share publicly, but also the loss of friendship and a situation that felt very betraying in a time I needed support, and feeling the loss of community when I needed it most. I struggled so much I barely made it to the next day again and again. A lot of the time my struggles were silent to the outside, and thank the universe for my friends and partner and their unconditional love.

I can honestly say am so much stronger and self aware due to this past year of hurt and hardship. The hard times will eat you up and spit you out but it really is up to you what you get from it. Stepping into a new year of life I can honestly say that I think I have turned a new leaf - I’ve shed the weight of the past hardships and am ready for what is next and for that I am so grateful.
