✨Meet me in 5s✨

I was tagged for this fun challenge by @glimmers.0104 and I had a good time putting it together! I never show my face so I thought it would be fun to only pick photos of me and I tried to pick some that show my personality a little. Please feel free to try this and tag me so I can learn more about everyone!

#meetmein5s #myfavorites #meetthebookstagrammer

I know two of these still aren’t out yet, but I feel like I’ve been obsessing over them since I read them. Also, it was insanely hard to pick 5! Like I didn’t even touch any other genres 🫣

Looking at this, my taste seems super chaotic 😂 which feels fitting for this photo. This was the Upside Down Museum in Amsterdam which was so much fun!

It almost feels wrong I didn’t include The Sound of Music in this slide since I’m standing in the spot from the film where Julie Andrews is running around the hills of Austria. Again, picking just 5 was kind of hard and I almost didn’t think of The Mummy and that movie practically made me!

If you can’t tell by this photo, I love food 😂 when I thought about it though I don’t snack all that much. And I really like bread products, but I felt like putting a loaf of bread would be too silly.

My dog Sylvie is my ride or die which felt appropriate for favorite tropes. I suppose she also fits the found family trope. You can bet she’s always right next to me when I’m reading or going for a coffee run!

I don’t have Spotify so this one was hard to decide on top 5 songs. My lovely husband pointed out that I basically listen to the Heated Rivalry and Off Campus soundtrack on repeat so iykyk where those bottom three songs came from 😅

I look absolutely insane in this picture but to be fair it was a grueling hike to the top a little later in the season than we should have hiked so the last mile was just solid ice and I’m completely beat for this picture. In case it isn’t obvious I really really love the outdoors and Colorado was just some of the best outdoor experiences I’ve had in a long time. Also feel free to ask me more about any of my random facts, but I definitely don’t have any of that fanfiction saved anywhere 😂 by @fantasticalbinds

✨ARC Review✨

If this book isn’t on your radar yet, it absolutely should be! Heart of the Raven Prince by @parkeragarnerauthor was a great read! I devoured this one in two days! I was immediately drawn in by the strong stabby FMC, Fawn and boy did I stay for the traumatized MMC, Caden 🙌🏻 This one had me stressing and on the edge of my seat the entire time and of course it had a brutal cliffhanger. I can’t wait to read book two!

Thank you so much @parkeragarnerauthor for allowing me to read this one early! I can’t wait to see what pain awaits us in book two!

Releases October 6th! Also on Kindle Unlimited!

The group chat is back at it again with a bookish never have I ever challenge! It was fun to see where everybody stood on some of these. The only time I’ve ever written in books was for AP Lit or college classes 🫣

Thanks for always making this fun girls!

✨Friday Flat Lay✨

Happy Friday! Today I thought I would do a little LJ Andrews flat lay in honor of The Stolen Crown being out for release next week! If you haven’t read The Ever King series yet, now is definitely the time!

If you had to choose, would you read about pirates or Vikings?

✨Monthly Reading Wrap✨

September was a super weird reading month for me. I read 26 total, but I DNFd 7 books which is definitely a lot for me. I found some new to me authors this month that I will absolutely be reading more of: Peyton Corinne, Emily Rath, Fonda Lee and Parker A. Garner.

I think I read too many emotionally damaging books this month and it’s just thrown me off some. Bat Eater crushed me, Unsteady crushed me and Into the Blue absolutely destroyed me. Having said that I haven’t felt the way Into the Blue made me feel in such a long time! It was a stand out read for me this month!

What were some of your favorite reads this month?

✨ARC Review✨

Thank you so so much to @netgalley and @avonbooks and @theagwrites for opportunity to read This Shattered Tempest early! I am absolutely feral for this series and the final installment did not disappoint!

This was a six star read for me. The way Thea does enemies to lovers across three books is just impeccable. I don’t know how she did it but the tension was still very much there and I was legitimately stressed for how this was going to end. I can say that I was very happy with how it was wrapped up aside from I’m sad that the story is over. I might have to just read them all over again now that the series is complete! If you shipped Reylo or Zutara and you haven’t read this series yet, you absolutely should!

Book three is finally out October 6th!

Blurb: Throughout their political marriage, Alaric and Talasyn struggled to resist the undeniable pull between them, even as rising tensions forced them on opposite sides of a looming war. Hand in hand, they vanquished the cataclysmic threat of the Moonless Dark—and started to hope for a future together.

That hope is shattered when a devastating attack sets off a chain of events that tears them apart once more. Now, as two rival nations prepare for a final, decisive clash, the Master of the Shadowforged Legion and the last Lightweaver fight to find their way back to each other. But the odds are stacked against them, and time is running out…

Is love enough to rewrite destiny? Can a new beginning rise from the ruins of the past? Or are Alaric and Talasyn doomed to meet as enemies on one last battlefield? This explosive third and final book brings the beloved Hurricane Wars series to a stunning conclusion—where passion and power collide, and the fate of a divided world hangs in the balance.
