We love celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month through art! 🇲🇽🎨❤️

For the Origins Art Exhibition, presented by the San Luis Yuma County Library, our little artists had the opportunity to celebrate Mexico’s rich artistic and cultural heritage by exploring two beautiful traditions through painting.

✨ Cortado en Color
Our Art 1 artists created their very own festive “Papel Picado” designs, bringing traditional Mexican patterns, shapes, and colors to life through paint.

🍬 Sabores de México
Our Art 2 artists recreated a traditional Mexican candy in a painting, exploring the colorful and delicious side of Mexican culture.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the opening ceremony and came out to support our little artists! 💖 We are so proud of their creativity and the beautiful artwork they created.

If you haven’t had a chance to see the exhibition yet, stop by the San Luis Branch Library and admire the amazing artwork from local artists! 🎨✨

A very special thank you to the San Luis Yuma County Library for creating this wonderful exhibition and providing a space for local artists to share and showcase their work with our community. ❤️ by @fantasyartaz

Art Class 2 took creativity outside 🎨✨

In our last class, we stepped outdoors for a little color hunt.
It turns out the world becomes a lot more vivid the moment you slow down and really look 💛👀

Art with Seniors 🎨💖✨

Last week, we had the wonderful opportunity to create art with our senior residents, and it was truly a memorable experience filled with learning, creativity, and joy.

During the class, we explored the work of Claude Monet and admired one of his most iconic pieces, The Water Lily Pond. Learning about the artist and creating art inspired by his work made the experience even more special.

Our artists of the day created their own mixed-media water lily ponds 🌿💧—painting the water on canvas and crafting lilies and leaves on separate paper to layer and glue, bringing their ponds to life with depth and texture.

A beautiful reminder that art has no age limit 💕🎨

Thank you San Luis Senior Center for this amazing opportunity to share art with our Senior Artists! by @fantasyartaz

✨ Celebrating Día de los Muertos — the artsy way! 💀🎨

We teamed up with Star Academia for a magical night of creativity — where little artists and ballerinas designed the most fabulously dressed calaveritas you’ve ever seen! 🩰🌸

Come check out all the creations next week at the Cesar Chavez Cultural Center.

Huge thanks to all the amazing parents who joined in and helped their kids bring these sparkling calaveritas to life! 💖
