Bringing it in right at the very last moment as per usual, but I'm really just out here trying my best. I had nearly 70 orders to get out the door today, too 😅

Hopefully this will help me stay on top of things going forward; some of the listings still need a bit of work (namely the enamel pin ones - sorry about that 🥲) but hopefully everything is clear enough that you all can check out successfully!

Any and all interactions on this post are greatly appreciated. Now I am going to pass the hell out and hopefully get a chance to rest up a little before I have to jump right back into things 💖

My next event is Clothesline on August 29th & 30th - I hope to have the pictured plushies and much more - as well as TWO new pin collections, if I can get the ball rolling on those soon...but even if not, that'll be the best place to support me again. I might even have a fun surprise for anyone who mentions my instagram when they come by my booth 👀 by @fantasyfoxcreations

Hey y'all - this is absolutely not the first post, reel, story, or news you've heard of Pride being canceled in Rochester, after barely 2 hours or so of starting. It certainly won't be the last.
But I was one of the vendors whose livelihood is now being affected by the decisions made by the organizers of Pride.

I will start with the important part - from now until SUNDAY, I am running a sale on my storefront - free shipping on all orders $35+, and for all sticker orders. Local pickup or delivery is available as well. Many items are available with their BOGO type deals that are typically only available at in person events. Moving onto the wordier bit that goes into a more in depth explanation of how fucked this situation is:

While this was my first ever pride as a vendor, I have been selling for 16 years - 5 of those now being full-time - and I have gotten pretty good at estimating how a day will go based on only a few hours of sales. This event would have been one of my top 5 single sales days for the year, and my best single day event by FAR. I had heard great things from other vendors who had sold here in the past, and so my estimations were higher than I would typically go for one day, but still lowered a bit due to the current fucked state of the world. I was blown away by the support I received in just a few short hours, and how low my original estimations were.

That being said, I am hopeful that I can get some traction to my website now that I have (mostly) updated it - updates will continue throughout the week as I photograph more plushies and items I hadn't photographed yet. I unfortunately have not put aside the time required to properly photograph and update all of my merchandise, in part because I am disabled & running a small business is essentially 2-3 full time jobs in one, and then some. There simply is not enough time in the day, nor do I have enough energy, and I don't have enough extra funds to pay someone PROPERLY to assist me.

Typically a single day event would not feel ao bankrupting, but the amount of lost profit makes this feel devastating. Add on top of that the 14+ hours I personally s by @fantasyfoxcreations

THE "FUCK, THAT SUCKED" SALE IS LIVE! For the next 7 days, all krders $35+ will receive FREE SHIPPING, as will all sticker orders! I am doing my best to update the store with conversation only deals as well (BOGO type deals on stickers, pins, sticker sheets, washi tape and more).
ENGAGEMENT ON THESE POSTS IS SO APPRECIATED. SHARES, COMMENTS, LIKES, ETC. WILL BOOST THINGS! Which in turn will help me recoup the loss of income thanks to Pride not being postponed 🥲

Liquid shakers are unfortunately not part of this update - but I will be at Clothesline in August, and the Bead Your Own Shaker station will be available for its TRUE debut on the 29th and 30th of August!

My final note - I had a planned trip starting Juky 27th until the 4th. So unfortunately all orders will likely not be out by the time I leave; anything not sent by the 25th will be mailed out starting the 5th!

Those who opt for local delivery or pickup will be able to receive their items on a aimilar timeline.

Me...actually posting booth photos?!

Yeah idk what's come over me but here I am. These are also TERRIBLE photos but oh well.
Clothesline was this past weekend and it was...exhausting. I am more and more convinced every day mono is still dragging me down, and it sucks buttcheeks.

However, I met some WONDERFUL new friends this weekend (a lot of them actually!!) So a huge thank you to everyone who stopped by my booth this weekend and had a chat with me - know that people like you are the ones who make the exhaustion of setting up, working 10-12 hour days, and tearing down worth it.

I also got to put out some of my best friend's (@midnight_springs ) work, which is always an exciting addition to showcase alongside my own!
Now a nice 6 week break while I gear up for Retro Game Con in Syracuse next month - I will have my BIGGEST space ever at 10x20 feet. I will just be panicking a bit as I plan that out and crochet as much as I possibly can to prepare 😱😱😱

I always get lots of requests and suggestions at events, but having a little list wouldn't hurt~
