My latest project: A GIGANTIC granny square blanket in autumn colors and puff leaves sprinkled throughout. I'm quite pleased with it so far and surprised how quickly this is stitching up.

Around and around and around and around I go... Check back in two months. 🤭

I kept seeing these reels about using pool noodles and dollar store flowers to create arches and beautiful decor and such.

Small projects? Yes, it's cheaper.

Wreaths or arches? Not so much.

The pool noodle is very cheap. $2 at Walmart. The flower assortments I bought amounted to $27. This gave me roughly 25 inches of coverage on the noodle and then I had to cut the rest off. It wasn't quite half of the noodle. So say I doubled that ($54) but also had to get a few extra flowers because there's sparse coverage in the back (round up to $60), I could have bought a complete wreath for $30-50 or two six foot garlands for $24 each and wrapped those around the noodle.

Both options are cheaper and less effort.

If you're crafting for pleasure, erase all these price tags. Hobbies are priceless. 😁 Everyone knows this.

Yes, this is now a one of a kind item, but I didn't actually enjoy it. Floral arranging isn't for me. 🤷‍♀️ That's okay. I'm glad I learned this about myself.

I'm just saying, this isn't the cheap hack they think it is, especially since our dollar tree is now $1.50 tree lol. by @fantcbooks

Oh she's at it again. 😁 I crocheted another skirt from the pattern of the fabulous @sugarsprite.crochet.

This time I added pearls and shimmer thread! What do you think? It's so sparkly and lovely, I'm in love with these colors. Hurry up, spring! I want to wear my creations out! 🌷

I LOVE THIS SKIRT!! I bought the pattern from the lovely and talented @sugarsprite.crochet. It was so easy to follow with pictures throughout, that I was able to customize it as I went along, opting for this cute, springtime knee-length skirt.

I couldn't decide on a top! So you get all of them. 😁

Will be making 100 more of these... 👀
