🇺🇸 @markknopfler says all you need to tell a story is a piece of wood and six strings. Here's a little tribute playing around with his touch and phrasing.

Another wonderful experience at @bluenotemilano

This time, it was an opportunity to experience firsthand the incredible talents of a bass legend who brings Cameroon 🇨🇲 around the world - @richardbonaofficial - accompanied by two fantastic Cuban 🇨🇺 musicians: @jesuspupo on piano and keys and @ludwigafonso on drums (que grandes, chachos!)

Pure Afro-Cuban music! 🎶 taken in Milano by @fantonini

Mare, amici, blues, funk, soul, rock e buona compagnia.

🇺🇸 The best test? When you forget it's a test. The rest is just blues. 🎸

🇮🇹 Il test migliore? Quando ti dimentichi che lo stai facendo.

🇺🇸 My little Bugera V5 Infinium has been properly modded over the years, and along the way it’s developed a personality all its own.
Today it gets some fresh tubes: @tubeampdoctor EL84-STR Redbase + 7025 S Selected. You’ll be hearing it live very soon. And I think it still has plenty to say.

100 years of John Coltrane.

I’ve never considered myself a jazz guitarist, but Coltrane has definitely been an influence on the way I listen to and think about music.

A little piece of Blue Train, revisited through my own voice.

Happy 100th, Trane. 🎷

🇺🇸 First few notes through the Nexus by Stef Project Cables.
Tennessee Whiskey, completely improvised. I plugged in and just played.
Great feel, great dynamics, and after a couple of notes I got lost in the music. 🎸

🇮🇹 Primissime note con il Nexus di Stef Project Cables.
Tennessee Whiskey, tutto improvvisato.
