As mothers, we actually have so much more in common than we realise.

My last post showed me that many of us share the same worries, concerns, and hopes for our children from their health and safety, to their emotional wellbeing, their education and even their friendships.

So often, when these feelings come up, we think we’re alone… but we’re not. And sometimes, all it takes is opening up to see that. ❤️

If there’s one thing I’ve learned from last week, it’s this:

* You’re not alone.
* Worry and stress will come but don’t let them consume you.
* Sometimes the things we worry about turn out to be nothing at all (I know that was true for me).
* Above everything else, you have a Heavenly Father who loves you, sees you, and cares deeply about what you’re going through. — 1 Peter 5:7 #motherhood #parentingtogether #motherhoodjourney #mumencouragement by @fara_brown

Remember your why and be relentless about it.

I have a few reasons that drive me but this is one close to my heart ♥️
I have daughters who are always watching me (literally 😅😂).

I want my girls to grow up knowing that their mum was bold enough to believe in herself, to trust God for more and to win.

I want them to dream… and to dream BIG.
To understand that when you truly set your mind to something, you can achieve it.

I want them to see that mummy stayed the course and trusted God’s process.

I want them to know that doubt will come but that’s the moment you go back to the word, remind yourself who you are in Christ and keep going.

So if you have a dream, remember why you started… and keep going.

I didn’t know I needed this! It’s amazing how your own video can speak directly to you.

When you’re faced with challenges, find the strength to push through.

If you need to cry, by all means do it. Give yourself permission but set a date when you’ll stop crying about the situation (a little harsh but it’s something I practice myself! I’m a cryer - so trust me it works)

Dust yourself off and try again. And while you’re pushing through, recognise when you need to rest and truly rest.
