Sustainable fashion - changing sleeve length..

Growing sleeves on a cardigan - warm cardigan had short little sleeves making it a bit useless. So replaced them with long sleeves - this took about 6 attempts of pick up and knit, but worked out finally. Happy to have saved some clothing from not being worn🧶

Modifying shop bought top.
To make sizing realistic and fit at waist, added in lace godets to each side.
Low back covered with lace (in second pic)

Autumn post🍁...
Cardigan of the century - that's what completing it felt like! My first knitted garment for myself. Started in 2016, couldn't pick up for years, finally completed last year!
Made in the largest size, because I was afraid it may come out too small

Tatreez (Palestinian embroidery/cross stitch) with Gaza motifs.
Attended a workshop by @thetatreezcollective in Central London. I turned the project pouch into a cross-body bag.
I had somehow hoped Gaza's pain would be over by the time I finished embroidering...
