Closed 20k over listing price 🥳 #ReedAboutIt

This was one of my more difficult deals in my career! Story time:

We acquired the listing, we spent weeks getting it ready, cleaning the pool, cutting an acre worth of lawn several times, making necessary fixes.

Then we listed, investors made verbal offers, they never submitted them. We held open houses, more buyers came and declined. A seemingly worthy buyer finally came..

A few weeks later, that buyer backed out. We kept trotting! We did reverse prospecting.

A new buyer appeared! One in which we found ourselves. Things were looking bright! A chance to represent both sides!

A day before the scheduled closing the lender called and said underwriting was backing out of the deal. 💔

Heartbreaking. The seller had already begun selling his items, how could we break the news?

We kept trotting. We applied pressure to the appropriate parties, I had to ruffle some feathers! Negotiations were made and the deal was saved with incentives added! 😮‍💨

Sometimes real estate is pretty, most times it isn’t. But we as agents make a commitment to the good, bad and the ugly!

In the end, the fulfillment is indescribable. The best feeling in the world is making clients happy in achieving their goals. When you are ready to achieve yours, you know who to call:

Rain, shine, sleet or snow, we’ll close the deal before you know! 😂

S/o To my client Doc! For years he worked with agent after agent trying to sell his home. None could get the deal done, and then a family member of his gave him one of my business cards..and well you know the rest! #ReedAboutIt 📚
