Not many people knew what I was dealing with before stepping into the ring.

I was fighting with a bruised rib, an injured capsule in my right hand, two cuts on my head and a lot of pain. Before my fight, I had to take pain medication, constantly treat my injuries with pain-relief gel and use ice therapy to reduce the swelling and keep the pain under control, just so I could be ready to compete.

For 99% of people, that would have been enough of a reason not to fight.

For me, it wasn’t.

I made the decision to step into the ring anyway. Not because I wasn’t in pain, but because I had a goal, a responsibility and a reason to keep going.

Sometimes fighting means more than what happens inside the ring. It means showing up when everything tells you not to.

Alhamdulillah for everything. What is written for me will always find me, and what is not written for me will never be mine.

I trust Allah’s plan. Everything happens by His will, and I know that this is only another part of my journey.

I left everything I had in that ring. 🥊🇦🇹
