the music video for LAYER BY LAYER is finally out!

go watch it, stream it, share it loud.

this one means a lot to me. probably more than I’d ever say out loud. it’s one of the most special parts of my EP, and I’m really happy I can finally share it with you.

we shot it (again) on 16mm, which makes me insanely proud. so many talented people helped bring this to life, and I’m beyond thankful for everyone who believed in this vision.

most of all, this journey gave me the chance to meet young, driven, creative people who are out here making beautiful things just because they love it!! and that just gives me a lot of hope.

thank you so much for being here 🖤

video now online on Youtube!

Behind The Scenes of
𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄 🪐

A great story is worth nothing without blood, sweat, and tears, right?
Wrong. It also needs some sand.

Explore what’s behind the images that look good—and are the hardest to achieve. Filmmaking is not a walk in the park but such a rewarding experience - and thats always and forever what we love most about it.

Big big thanks to this amazing team of dedicated individuals. No way we could have done this without you and your trust! 🫶🏼

𝓐𝓻𝓮 𝔂𝓸𝓾 𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓵𝓵𝔂 𝓯𝓲𝓷𝓮? 🔪

Born from the endless layers of self-sabotage and -doubt, this film adresses those forced to sit with the meal they prepared for themselves.

Layer By Layer. A great song makes a great film and vice versa. This was a match from start to finish! @iamtonimor Hope you enjoy it as much as we did making it :)

yours truly,
Christoph & Philipp Kaar

Special thanks to
@lugo.cairns for being the hardest worker, best focus puller and spark plus providing a 16mm setup that gives feelings of confidence and security 🫂

@verenasparer for pushing through production and thinking ahead by understanding the vision and needs. Plus great BTS! 👩🏻‍💻

@yasmani.stambader for all the good energy and help. ⚡️

@filmlicht.at @the.arc.studios for supporting art and tight budgets. 🫱🏼‍🫲🏽

This would not have been possible without you all. ♥️🌹 by @farfrom.cc

𝐃𝐚𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐕𝐄𝐋𝐎𝐂𝐄𝐒𝐏𝐀𝐂𝐄 / 𝐃𝐂 🪐

In times like these, we all dream of something bigger—something beyond life as we know it.

For Dalbello, that dream was skiing on another planet.

So we made it real. Just over a year ago, a small crew of 7 earthlings traveled to Namibia to craft something otherworldly.

Worlds of sand and snow blend together and open up a new space. A Veloce Space.

THE WEIGHT WE CARRY
Festival season starting offff 🍸

Official Selection @iffi.at
Best Cinematography (@manuelzoller_ )& Best Original Score (@johanngrahamengelhardt )@prismaawards

We shot The Weight We Carry in 7 days straight with only one downday in between. Conditions were tough, with every location being super remote we had to carry all the equipment on our shoulders, sometimes walking for three hours straight . It was actual weight to carry, so we all experienced what the film is about! 🪑

Be part of the premiere at @iffi on Friday 05.06. screening 14:45 at @cinematograph_leokino , happy to see you there :)

THE ONES WHO RIDE - Ep.02: INSANITY

A @pitlane.culture production

As the world gets more and more sanitized, most people like to spend their lifes avoiding risks. They choose comfort and security, while some guys take their motorbikes to reach speeds over 200 km/h in a lap during the annual IsleOfMan TT race.

Davey and Peter from @8tenracing are definitely not sane when it comes to racing fast. But what does it mean to sacrifice basically everything you have in life for these moments of escapism—for those brief moments of feeling truly „alive“?

Is it a selfish thing to do? Or is it simply one’s destiny?

Thanks for bringing us on board! @pitlane.culture

When Ethan wakes up from the biggest party of his life, horribly hungover, the only thing that can cure him is „THE RIDE“:

Here’s some Bits and Pieces we like best. Really happy to have helped with the Intro and the NIght Shoot on this one. We filled an indoor sauna area with beer cans and cigarette buts. Never forgot.
The full movie is on @youtube.
ALSO REALLY EXCITED TO WORK WITH HIM ON ANOTHER PROJECT.
