What’s one thing you want to do more of in the new year?

For me, it’s this: more miles, more mountains, more moments where the only language is the landscape.
2025 has already taught me so much that a new perspective is only a drive away, that stillness can be found in motion, and that the best lessons aren’t in a book, but in the quiet of a forest or the chatter of a market halfway across the world.
But the more I see, the more I realize how much is left unseen. So I’m making it a promise: to wander more, even if it’s just an hour from home. To make curiosity a habit, and the unknown a friend.

What’s a place near or far that’s calling you right now?

They say home isn’t a place, it’s a feeling. For me, that feeling has always been found in the in-between. In the quiet moment a sunset paints the sky, on a stretch of sand between the land and the sea, and in the motion of traveling from one chapter to the next. This is where I feel most like myself. Swipe to see what I mean.

i saw a stranger taking photos at sunset in san francisco and thought it would make a really cool photo for me. he moved and i let him know i was taking his photo and then he asked if i wanted him to go back to posing, i said yes and the result was amazing. always love how such interactions turn out. i hope he finds this reel taken in San Francisco, California by @farhaanescapes

Sometimes you randomly come across something interesting that you didn’t plan on taking a photo of but it turns out great. So many spontaneous moments for photography. Have you been spontaneous lately?
