Dear friends I’m so excited to share with you my latest Transformational Training Client that I have the amazing pleasure to work with: Bollywood singer and actress Jonita Gandhi ⭐️ 😎 Jonita is a true and impressive talent who also just released four new songs this week alone and in four different languages including Hindi, Gujarati, Tamil, and Punjabi streaming now on all major platforms 🙌🏽 She also recently served as a mentor on the hit TV series “Taare Zameen Par” an Indian kids singing reality show. Jonita is also well known in the Ismaili Muslim community as she was featured in the official theme song for His Highness The Aga Khan’s Diamond Jubilee with Bollywood singers and producers Salim–Sulaiman. In honour of Pride Month I am dropping my second season of my podcast "Elevate Your Life: A Transformational Podcast" I've titled this season "Queer Relief" and I'm having real and authentic conversations with people of colour providing them with a safe space and platform to share their stories. The first two episodes are dedicated to my own personal coming out story which I have never shared publicly. Till now. I took a deep breath and hit that publish button this morning at 11:11am and really leaned into my personal power.

I hope you enjoy each conversation as there is a lot to learn from each of my guests. They are truly incredible human beings who are sincerely elevating our world.

I stand in solidarity with everyone who is part of the Queer Community especially all those that are living in fear, isolation and struggling. It is my hope that this seasons episodes help to make the journey toward acceptance and self love possible.
If you are not part of the Queer community you can support those that are by reaching out! Wish them Happy Pride Month. Ask them what they need in terms of support. You may be saving a persons life.

*Queer Joy: My Divine Birthright* is a photographic series that traces the intimate and defiant journey of @farhandhalla , a South Asian, Ismaili Muslim queer man, as he reclaims his life’s narrative beyond the margins of cultural expectation, religious orthodoxy, and societal conformity. Through striking portraits, self-reflective moments, and layered visual storytelling, the series explores the intersections of queerness, faith, migration, and masculinity.

Woven throughout the collaboration are inherited ancestral materials and cultural symbols imbued with deep personal significance, including sentimental fabrics, heirloom jewellery belonging to both Farhan’s mother and my own, henna designs on Farhan’s hands, and Tasbih (prayer beads). These materials and rituals carry memory, lineage, faith, and the weight of histories inherited and reinterpreted. Alongside them, intricately designed wearable art pieces were generously provided on loan for the project by designer @theilaverse , creating a rich, ornamental visual language in which ancestry and contemporary queer self-expression can coexist, converse, and transform one another.

The photographs honour Farhan’s courageous reclamation of identity.

Rather than rejecting his roots, Farhan delves into a radical reimagining of belonging and empowerment on his own terms. In doing so, the work unpacks what it means to inherit a culture without being confined by it. This work offers visibility and reverence, asserting that true power lies in self-definition, and that liberation is deeply personal, tender, political, and queer.

*Queer Joy: My Divine Birthright* is a collaborative project, with the full series and text to be released in the coming months. Stay tuned. 📸❤️

BTS from my collab with @mariam_magsi 📸

For this project Mariam asked me to choose symbols that represented me that I identify with.
The first I chose is a butterfly 🦋 because it universally, symbolizes transformation, personal growth, and the beauty of a new beginning. Many traditions view the butterfly as a representation of the human soul, freedom, and the afterlife.
The second I chose is the lotus flower 🪷 because universally, symbolizes, purity, rebirth, and spiritual awakening because it roots in murky mud and rises above the water to bloom, clean and bright. It pushes through dark muddy water to reach the light. ✨

I paid tribute to my late parents. I included my mom’s initials on my left hand K.D. and my father’s initials S.D. on my right hand. RIP mom and dad. Love you forever ❤️🕊️

I wanted a big bold thick lines symbolize, truth, and living life, authentically and apologetically.

My main pattern was also influenced by my love for Ricky Martin @ricky_martin ❤️
