#scoremarathon2026
The goal was simple: stick to pace below 6 then later on some negative split at the last 5km . The first 10Km went perfectly as planned. But from 12Km onwards, my calves just wouldn’t cooperate, they felt damn heavy and started stinging especially during the elevations.
The plan ended here.

Reflecting back on this, i probably didn’t warm up enough (15-20min je) , didn’t recover well, and doing a leg workout the day before the race wasn’t my smartest decision.

Will come back stronger.💪🏻

Probably time for a proper personalised training plan to patch the gaps in my speed endurance.
