Still processing all the massive love and support given to us and our efforts! It’s been emotional to see this collaboration come to life after months of preparation and anticipation. So grateful and honored to be given an opportunity to present my work alongside my idol, inspiration and support system, my dad! And to take our work to Amsterdam!! A dream come true!

chutney at murmur ~

on the 13th of june we came together for chutney at murmur where we built an evening around indo-surinamese music, food and culture, tied together by the lovely artists, @barsatierazia, @mo.rights, @rotational___, aarav baithak gana, @championlovaaa @vintagevoudou & @allindiastereo. with delicious home cooked food by @shilacho! thanks to all the people who were there < 3 we are immensely grateful for your presence.

Tracing the journeys of the Indian diaspora to the Caribbean, the night moves through sound, memory and movement between cultures. Hot hot music, baithak gana live, exhibition, conversations, home-style food and warmth.

Last friday for the @aprilfeesten community meal, cooked together with @bombertje and the @warmoesbiennale crew. Proper amritsari chole + ghee wale chawal, sirke wale pyaaz, gajar ka halwa. Nieuwmarkt smelled like home all day taken in Nieuwmarkt by @faridbawa

Aprilfeesten dagmaaltijd take-over

Onze buurt is niks zonder dé Aprilfeesten. Al sinds 1988 worden de Aprilfeesten op de Nieuwmarkt gevierd door buurtbewoners. Ze willen het graag geheimhouden, maar het is terecht een van de slechtst bewaarde geheimen van de stad. Het is een echt buurtfeest met muziek, eten, gemeenschap en een te gek programma.

Wij zijn enthousiast en trots om onderdeel van het programma te zijn. Op de avond van 24 april nemen BONNE en de Warmoes Biënnale de dagmaaltijd van de Aprilfeesten over voor een (medium) pittig Indiaas bord eten! Samen met Farid Bawa van All India Permit zal het Warmoes-team de keuken runnen.

Aprilfeesten Community Meal Takeover

Our neighborhood is nothing without the Aprilfeesteb. It has become one of the most important annual events for and by Amsterdam’s city center community. They like to keep it a secret, but thanks to its fantastic atmosphere and activities, it’s arguably one of the worst-kept secrets in Amsterdam. Expect a true neighborhood celebration filled with music, food, community, and all kinds of entertainment.

We are excited and proud to be part of this years programme. On the evening of April 24, BONNE and the Warmoes Biennale will take over the Aprilfeesten community meal, serving a (medium) spicy Indian dinner! Together with Farid Bawa of All India Permit, the Warmoes team will run the kitchen.

Round 2 with @wearethejunction at VegNonVeg Delhi on the 24th January.

A night centred around local creativity and community. With @bykhatra, @edsonbarbapapa, @dineshsonak, @tamseel_h, @faridbawa , and @emiliabergmans leading a straight-up conversation on culture and collaboration. Along with limited-edition @patta_nl tees and totes with @gurdevart, @bykhatra, and Utsavi from @border.line.tattoos

The energy stayed real all evening, and vinyl-only selections from @jo.gi.ta_ @antarikshdaddy and @faridbawa closed the night.

Pure good times in Bombay Delhi with @wearethejunction. We made projects with @vegnonveg & @tinymiracles_official, discussed new ideas, initiatives, ways to build together, all leading to the next edition @dineshsonak @edsonbarbapapa @babatoure @barryschwarz. Met friends, family, first-ever 10K run @tatamummarathon, and the food! Also pulled up with a bag of vinyls, played at @genrejournal @vegnonveg @barokealisteningbar. VegNonVeg and The Junction link up for Round 2!

The Junction @VegNonVeg: Why the World Moves with Local Creativity

What is the Junction? The Junction is a creative platform where scenes, disciplines, and ideas collide. Built on collaboration and co-creation, it exists to push culture forward and create what comes next.

Join us for an evening of panel conversations soundtracked by vinyl-only selections, alongside limited edition Patta T-shirts created in collaboration with artists Gurdev Singh, Khatra, and Utsavi (Border-Line Tattoos).

The panel brings together street artist Khatra, Patta founder Edson Sabajo, Creative Gym founder Dinesh Sonak, Pluc.TV founder Tamseel Hussain, All India Permit founder Farid Bawa, and VegNonVeg founder Emilia Bergmans for a straight-up conversation on creativity, community, and culture. Together, they’ll discuss how scenes are built, voices are supported, and how the work moves forward as one.

Plus, we’ll have some cold drinks and easy bites to keep things flowing.
