Congratulations on retirement to Sarah Boling the 2026 Miss Cowboy Capital Pro Rodeo Queen!

We braved the wind this weekend at the Cowboy Capital of the World PRCA Rodeo, and what a show it was!

If you didn’t get enough of Sarah, she will continue advocating for agriculture in her role as Miss Rodeo North Texas Fair. As well as competing in Miss Rodeo Texas in the future.

Hello everyone! My name is Aubrey Schlimgen and I’m proud to introduce Central Texas Ag Today, your local source of agriculture stories and news in Central TX.

Central Texas Ag Today is a Farm Report that runs with @themighty93stephenvilletx and KSTV located in Stephenville TX.

I am current student at Tarleton State University studying Agriculture Communications. Where I hope use my studies to help tell the story of agriculture. That passion stemmed from my background growing up on my families dairy farm in Wisconsin, where we milk about 300 cows.

New Century Farmer, a conference like no other. Class of 2024 left my bucket not just full but overflowing. With joy, hope, laughs, and here’s why:

Last year I had the privilege of attending New Century Farmer as an attendee and it gave me connections, a new perspective, and above all a vision statement for my purpose in life. We are all given a purpose by the Lord but putting it into words was hard until NCF.

Now to spring forward to this summer when I was given to utmost privilege to be able to facilitate NCF. And help attendees find their true purpose and develop a vision statement to take back home in their lives or operations.

I knew personally going into this week was going to be tough. Not only was I experiencing hard circumstances back home on our own farm. But also due to weather, rising prices, family conflict, unforeseen stress, and many other numerous factors everyone in agriculture has been struggling.

But what a blessing it was to be able to all come to together in a place and time such as NCF and be able to address and talk about all of those things. And that became very evident when the conference kicked off.

For example we started off with an “inspiration wall” to help keep us motivated throughout the week. I immediately was hit by the Holy Spirit. Yes everyone has their lows, but this inspiration was going to carry each and every person through. How beautiful it was to witness God’s glory in that moment and many more.

Hearing everyone’s stories and making conversation through the week helped the thought of stress and burden become just a dwindling thought. And I’m proud of each person for growing and learning throughout this week. I was honored to be a witness.

TYJ for inspiring people, and giving promise and hope for a future in the industry that means the most. Along with a group of 3 other amazing people to tackle NCF with me by my side:)

IPPE/ Atlanta recap:

At the end of January I was able to be apart of an awesome opportunity to take a trip down to Atlanta Georgia to the International Production & Processing Expo along with some of the best people!

While there I again was reminded how vast the agriculture industry is and how it truly brings us all together.

I’m truly blessed to have been able to be surrounded with the love of people. And to embark on an adventure to see things I never thought I would see and to go places that allow me to see creation in a whole new light. They say home is where the heart is, it ain’t no piece of land. Well I say home is the heart of Stephenville TX, at Tarleton State University.

How blessed am I to have been surrounded by so much love, that would make me feel home despite being so far away from my actual home.

And how blessed am I to have been in such great company that brought forth so many laughs, tears, and memories. Because of experiences like this, I get to leave better than when I arrived and with a head and heart full of hope and of inspiration. Hope for the future of Agriculture, FFA, and fellowship. Along with the chance to share so many stories that inspire me and I’m sure countless others to go and do great things.

How blessed am I to see another day of the sun rising and cutting through the dark.

How blessed am I to be a witness of such glory.

We’re doing it, we’re breaking the instagram hiatus.

And what better way then to share about spring break in wisco with the one and only @josie.kellyyy

Here’s a list of action packed things that this sweet Arkansas gal got to experience:))

-started off strong by learning the ropes of our diary operation and even milked the cows
-got to take on madtown and state street where we also toured the state capital
-she also saw a frozen lake (lake Mendota) for the first time, crazy I know
- ATE REAL CHEESE CURDS
-spontaneously saw northern lights in our hay field, first time for me as well!!
-took some awesome photos thanks too the talented @wildflowerandhoneyphotography
-enjoyed @sassycowcreamery and had her first cheese pull
-took her to section 5 LDE’s and got to witness some of Wisconsins finest FFA members💛💙
-shared a milkshake at my fav 60’s diner
-and for the best part got a real taste of winter in Wisconsin with a surprise foot of snow!

To say you’ll get a experience coming and spending time here is an understatement. But in all seriousness twas a week full of great memories and laughs and so grateful she could join us. Sorry about the snow once again👍❤️ taken in Da Farm by @farmeraubs42

These people, my people, bonded by the blue corduroy. We are in full swing of the 93RD Wisconsin FFA State Convention! But what a journey it has been with the most amazing people. From all the laughter, crying, and probably more laughter because most of them could be comedians in my mind. But nonetheless I can’t wait to go through this week with these lovely humans, and cannot wait to award our outstanding members of the Wisconsin FFA! 🙌💛💙 by @farmeraubs42
