My beautiful mom—my best friend in this world—went home to be with Jesus today. There aren’t words big enough for how much I will miss her, but I take comfort knowing she is now in perfect peace, held in the arms of her Savior.

We all called her Mimi after her first grandchild was born. Mimi was the kindest soul God ever placed on this earth. She saw the best in everyone, and she couldn’t hold a grudge because she truly believed every person was worthy of love, grace, and forgiveness. She lived out the love of Christ in everything she did, and she taught us to do the same.

She was breathtakingly beautiful, inside and out. She loved the Lord with her whole heart, and she loved my dad with the same devotion. Their next anniversary would have marked 70 years of faithfulness and love.

The world will never be the same without her gentle light. She was loved so deeply by so many. My heart aches, but I know without a doubt that she is in heaven, whole and rejoicing, and that through Christ we will be together again for eternity by @farmgirl430
