Ready for another weekend 🙌 *FRIDAY* Open for lunch and dinner, with 10% off our whole menu on Friday lunchtime to reward those daytime diners. We’ve got spaces for both, and do keep some spots for walk-ins. *SATURDAY* Open all day - booking recommended, but we love walk-ins too where there’s space - maybe o one of our barrels for some wine and bites. *SUNDAY* Our new Sunday service, 12-4pm. Long, lazy and indulgent Sunday lunches, with a special ‘roast-like’ dish every week. We’re open all day Friday and Saturday and for a long, lazy lunch service on Sunday. 💥 Don’t forget, it’s 10% off everything, food and wine, on Friday lunchtimes. 🔥 Our Sunday special this week is porchetta with beef fat roast potatoes, green beans, carrots and pickled red cabbage. Our new weekly timings 👇 ☝️ We’re back open on the regular from this week, with reduced hours - but we’re making every one count! FRIDAY We’ll be open all day, from midday onwards serving our full new a la carte menu. Plus, we’re offering a special incentive to extend your weekend and have a lovely Friday lunch: 10% off your bill - that’s food AND wine - only on Friday lunchtimes. FRIDAY LUNCH 12-3pm FRIDAY DINNER 5-10pm SATURDAY We’re open all day - feel free to pop in, but booking recommended, especially in the evening. We’ll keep a few spots for walk-ins though, because we do like spontinuity. SATURDAY LUNCH 12-3pm SATURDAY DINNER 5-10pm SUNDAY We’re channeling all our Sunday Lunch energy into something just slightly different. Each week, we’ll run a Sunday special made for convivial dining. It will feel like proper Sunday food and be a roast of a style - but not quite the trad version*. This week, come by for Greek lamb kleftiko with garlic potatoes, ratatouille, charred cabbage and tzatziki. Veggie option available too. Come early, or book in - because it’s strictly limited and when it’s gone, it’s gone. SUNDAY LUNCH 12-4pm * little side note, if you do want the more trad roast like Farmyard used to do, chef Nick is pulling out all the stops over at our sister restaurant @boatyardstleonards in @heistmarket every week. And given it was him who made the Farmyard roast what it was, you’re in safe hands. BUT do give our new ones a go… they’re pretty banging! **Please also note, that on other days of the week we are available for private hire and can arrange special menus, wine tastings etc. by @farmyardwine

An update 👇 x We’ve gone through a bit of a tough patch at Farmyard over the past few weeks, with a mix of staffing problems, repairs and general life throwing itself around, and we’ve had to close a fair bit as a result - which isn’t like us. But we’ve been getting things sorted and we’re pretty excited to announce a new chapter for our lovely neighbourhood bistro which has now been doing its thing here in St Leonards for over eight years (!) As of this week, we are open every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, and they’ll be the days for the time being - with a brand new menu (plenty of old favourites) and a few little twists. Freshly shucked oysters, home-baked breads, juicy crevettes and a big focus on some excellent Sussex steaks alongside lots of ever-changing creative dishes such as prawns with bisque sauce, cured trout with pomegranate, fennel, chilli and mint, or local catch with charred greens and oyster butter sauce. Maybe finished with pavlova and custard, or a decadent chocolate pud with fresh fruit. All washed down with natural wines, including those we make ourselves in our micro-winery in West Sussex. Our team can’t wait to see you and we’ll be ever the more grateful for your support as we navigate a tough climate - but also let’s not talk about that too much. Farmyard is and always has been about the GOOD TIMES. So please come in, make yourself at home, be a bit loud, have one too many glasses, put a tea towel on your head, have another oyster for pudding. Trust us, we’ll love you for it. FAMILLE ER ALT - our Pinot Noir, made by us over @chichesterurbanwinery. This is a light, earthy and funky Pinot which we serve chilled. Deep and brooding earthiness with a lively acidity and fresh fruit flavour. It's named after a Norwegian saying which means that 'family is everything', and the label features our dear dog Balloo ❤️ .
