POSTS STORIES REELS

I'm Farnaz Ghafouri, an Iranian-born illustrator and visual artist based in Antwerp, Belgium.

With a background in architecture, I've always been drawn to storytelling, character design, and creating colorful, imaginative worlds filled with little details.

My work ranges from commercial illustration and branding to editorial projects, but what connects everything I create is my love for visual storytelling and bringing ideas to life.

Working on The Four Friends, inspired by Kalila wa Dimna, has been a particularly meaningful experience. I've really enjoyed exploring children's illustration and bringing these characters and their world to life.

For me, illustration isn't just about drawing beautiful images. It's about creating worlds that invite people to imagine, explore, and connect with a story. #leesplezier #grenzeloos #kamishibai by @farnarts

Meet Midday!! 🥖🙂‍↕️

A fresh and playful identity for a modern sandwich bar, built around that little pause in the middle of the day we all look forward to.

For Midday, I wanted to create a visual world that feels warm, bold and a little nostalgic. From sun-soaked colors and hand-drawn bread illustrations to playful packaging, plates and uniforms, every detail is designed to make lunchtime feel like your favorite part of the day.

Because midday isn’t just a time of day.
Midday is my favorite day! ☀️

Still Playing the Past 🎲✨🌠

Some memories become habits.
Some become rooms you keep revisiting.
And some turn into quiet little games you never fully stop playing. by @farnarts

TUIG has a really special place in my heart. 🥨
Huge thank you to everyone behind it and everyone who made this day possible. @tuig.rocks @blikfabriek @kult.kefir

Getting to share the little world I’ve built with all of you, and seeing some of these pieces start their journey with new people, feels truly surreal.

So much love to everyone we met, talked with, laughed with, and to everyone who gave my art a place in their lives today. 💜✨🪄 by @farnarts

“The Wilderness Within” 🥀✨

There’s a forest growing quietly inside me—
untouched by anyone, guided only by my dreams.
Here, it’s not fears that speak, but flowers.
And finally, I’m making peace with my wild self.

designed a special black & white coloring wrapping paper series for 🍫 Choco Premium — where each wrapper tells a story: love, sorry, congratulations, comfort, even welcome baby. 💌✨

The fun part? You can color the wrappers after unwrapping 🎨 — making them a keepsake instead of waste. A little mix of emotion, creativity & sustainability. 🌱

Curious? Full project is on my Behance — link in bio!! by @farnarts
