I thought I’d finally share a bit more about what I do, and why my heritage and the importance of home within it, feels so important to my design practice.

@talahrosedevelopments is a family business I’m lucky to run alongside my mum and sister, and named after my daughter, Talah Rose. We work across projects in both London and Toronto, building spaces that feel personal, considered and rooted in story.

Having originally studied fashion before moving into design publishing at @disegnojournal I eventually found my way into interiors. It’s a journey that’s shaped how I think about detail, material and narrative in everything we do.

As an Iranian woman, my perspective is deeply influenced by my family’s story. Leaving Iran in search of freedom has never felt more important, and I try to carry that resilience, pride and sense of identity into everything we build today.

Building a sense of home continues to shape our approach to design, where culture, memory and modern living come together.

I’m really proud of the journey so far, and even more excited for what’s ahead!

Swipe for some more detailed shots of the @generation.works @runtheboroughs pop-up London Marathon space with @newbalancerunning.

While myself and the @talahrosedevelopments team don’t focus on hires or pop-ups do get in touch if you’re interested in any interior transformations 🤗💫
