When voices are silenced, images speak. Many of these visuals reflect what’s happening right now in Iran, and around the world. Please share so awareness can travel where words cannot.

I am absolutely heartbroken by the sudden loss of my friend Eric Bauza.

Eric was the voice behind so many iconic characters, bringing joy and laughter to generations of people. But what made him truly special had nothing to do with his incredible talent or success. It was who he was as a person. Unimaginably kind, humble, generous, and genuinely one of the nicest people you could ever meet.

No matter how successful he became, he never lost that warmth or sincerity. He was always happy to make someone smile, and at the drop of a hat, he’d jump into the voice of any character just to bring a little joy to the moment.

I’ll never forget being with him the day they announced he would be taking on the voices of the Looney Tunes characters. He was so genuinely excited, so grateful, and so sincere. It was such a beautiful moment to witness, and one I’ll always remember.

My heart goes out to his family, friends, and everyone who loved him. I am so incredibly sorry for this unimaginable loss.

The world didn’t just lose an extraordinary talent. We lost a truly beautiful human being. One of the good ones, taken far too soon. I’m i’m heartbroken, this feels unreal.

Rest in peace, Eric. ❤️ #ericbauza “bugs bunny @bauzilla by @farnazcharmatz

I had the joy of reading “Babajoon’s Treasure” by @farnazcharmatz and illustrated by @nabihaiderali to my kids tonight. This is an intergenerational story about an Iranian granddaughter and her grandparents in America. I loved the whimsy and magic in the story, my kids were enthralled, and I loved how Farsi was incorporated without clunky translations. Thanks to @simonandschuster @simonkids for publishing!
