🦁⛳️ MONSIGNOR FARRELL OPENS PREMIER GOLF TRAINING CENTER ⛳️🦁

Today the Farrell Family celebrated the Blessing and Ribbon Cutting of the Monsignor Farrell Golf Training Center, a new permanent indoor facility that expands opportunities for our Faithful Men and strengthens the future of golf at Farrell.

Our Chaplain Father Adolfo Novio offered a blessing over the center, and we were honored to welcome home Bill Britton ’74, retired PGA Tour Professional and Farrell Alumni Hall of Famer, who delivered inspiring remarks and took the first ceremonial swing.

Farrell junior Andrew Romano ‘27 followed with the second swing, representing the next generation of Faithful Men.

President Lou Tobacco ’90 reflected on the moment:
“Golf teaches patience, discipline, integrity, and focus. These are qualities that define a Faithful Man.”

Thank you to Chairman of the Board of Trustees Larry Unrein ’74 and the entire Board for their leadership and steadfast support of Monsignor Farrell.

Special thanks to Joe Holt ’85 and the Facilities team, along with the outstanding contractors and partners who helped bring this vision to life.

We thank Golf Coach Rich Scafuri ’99, along with Principal Larry Musanti and Athletic Director Anthony Garofalo ’89, for their leadership and commitment to our student athletes.

We are grateful to the alumni who continue to support our mission:

Dr. Mike Elia ’74
Mike Burke ’92
John Mascari ’94
Nick Zangrillo ’17

Another proud step forward as we continue to strengthen the legacy of Monsignor Farrell. 🦁⛳️
THANK YOU @shotshavergolf

⚽️💗 A GREAT DAY AT THE DEN! 💗⚽️

What an incredible day of soccer, community, and support as Monsignor Farrell hosted our annual Breast Cancer Awareness Day! 🎀

Our Lions put together two strong performances against Iona Prep!

🦁 Varsity: Farrell 2 – Iona Prep 2

🦁 JV: Farrell 3 – Iona Prep 0

While the results on the field were exciting, today was about so much more than soccer. It was about coming together as a community, honoring those affected by breast cancer, celebrating survivors, and raising awareness for a cause that touches so many lives.

A special thank you to our friends and partners at Iona Prep for joining us in making this such a meaningful day. We truly appreciate the sportsmanship, support, and partnership between our two programs.

Thank you to our Farrell families, players, coaches, volunteers, and everyone who came out to support this special event.

Today was bigger than soccer. Together, we made a difference! 💗🎀
