EDC season 11 recap:

• RV problems before (and after) the trip

yet somehow, between all the chaos, this annual pilgrimage to the mesa turns into some of my favorite memories with some of my favorite people. at this point, we might as well have our own reality show 🤪 taken in Camp EDC by @farrice

Our second year RV camping and it was nothing short of cinema - from scenes stretching from stressful situations to surprise celebrations, our squad rolled 7 RVs & ~40 people deep, with a handful of camp newcomers (and first time EDCLV headliners( and plenty of vets (10+ EDCs for some)!

So grateful that rave fams exist to take care of each other, embrace our differences from tastes in music to paths of life, and experience both challenges and milestones each and every year. It’s what keeps me coming back HOME under the electric sky. 🎇 Love y’all and see y’all next year! 🫡

List of top Camp EDCLV ‘26 moments:
1. My favorite b2b2b all weekend: Ros & Os b2b Randi & Kev baby announcement/gender reveal x Jeremiah’s bday celly 👶🏻🎉
2. Went from 2 DJs to 12 DJs, all with diverse styles and genres played at our renegade DJ sets at the RV compound all weekend 🎚️🎛️
3. Overcoming all the odds from last minute bail outs, to injuries/health scares, to maintenance needs, and everything in-between 🫂
4. Somehow made it past sunrise all 4 days, even surviving long enough to actually go to the Thursday pre-party, a pool party, and the last afters in the mesa 🌅
5. Did not get mistaken for RJ 🤣 …did get called just Jay though 🤷🏻‍♂️

toddlerchella was not on my 2026 bingo card, but here we are lol

we’ve been to coachella so many times over the years, and somewhere along the way it kind of lost its magic for us.

too hot, too dusty, too many people there just to say they were there.

so coming back this year was really just for laarni’s birthday. and when my mom got sick two days before the festival, bringing JJ with us ended up being the easier option.

what i didn’t expect was for it to turn into one of my favorite festival experiences we’ve ever had.

music festivals have always been such a big part of me and farrice’s story. even when i was pregnant, JJ was already along for the ride, going to five multi day festivals in the womb, and another before he even turned one. so getting to share this part of our world with him felt really special.

it was JJchella in real life, and he was such a little rockstar all weekend. dancing all day and sleeping all night.

and somehow, ironically, it was coachella of all places that gave that back to us.

the desert always calls us back…
and this time, i think it healed something in me too 🥹🥰 by @farrice

maybe it’s the springtime, maybe it’s this season of life, but it just feels like a fresh start in more ways than one. a new chapter, a softer pace, a deeper kind of gratitude for everything we have right in front of us.

i’m so thankful for my family, for our health, for growth, for the lessons, and for the feeling that things are looking up. life isn’t always perfect, but it really is beautiful, and i’m trying to hold onto that a little more these days.

feeling grateful, hopeful, and really excited for what’s ahead 🌼🌞💛

POV: chicago comes to visit LA

sometimes you don’t realize how much you need to slow down until you actually do

march felt a little chaotic behind the scenes. a lot going on, a lot to figure out, and not a lot of time to pause

so last week ended up being exactly what we needed

showing our friends around our city, trying new food spots, disney days, canyon drives, and just being present

but the best part was getting to share a piece of our life with them that means so much to us

their first rave, the music, the energy, the feeling. watching it all click for them was honestly magic

just one of those weeks that reminded me how important it is to reconnect…

we thought we were being so responsible getting a dog before having a baby… and then found out i was pregnant literally a week later 💀

cue the puppy phase we completely forgot about. the chaos, the chewed things, the patience she tested daily. turns out, she was just training us for parenthood. and honestly? she prepared us perfectly for JJ.

bella is by far the smartest dog I’ve ever owned.
also the craziest. and I love the hell out of her.

now watching her with JJ is everything. the face grabs, the tail pulls, the riding, the toy stealing. and somehow she’s still so patient, so gentle, and so loving, even when she’s clearly over it.

we always wanted our kids to grow up with dogs, the way we did. seeing their bond form in real time is pretty amazing.

things i’m leaving in 2025:
• complaints
• fears
• tears
• stressing what i can’t control
• the weight i lost

things i’m bringing into 2026:
• more goals
• more discipline and motivation
• more JJ giggles and curls
• more love

last year was tough. but we made it out the other side with our health, our happiness, and so much gratitude for the love and support around us. the highs AND lows both did their job… they stretched me, sharpened me, and reminded me i can handle more than i think (and still make shit happen 😂).

this year i’m excited for more growth… mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. and more families i get to help achieve homeownership. and more core memories with my boys, including more disney days and new rides as JJ keeps leveling up past those height minimums.
