“A message to U.S.” Street vendors in Ahwaz, Khuzestan, Iran, August, 2012. These guys were so kind to me, and like so many people I met in Iran, only ever expressed love. 2 years of sobriety today. How everything has changed. I still love that picture of me hammered, underneath that car, waiting for it to run me over. I still feel like it should have some days. But im still here, and I can’t consider having another drink ever again. by @farshtx
