I grew up having all the soda, fast food, sugar, and all the snacks you can imagine.

With two immigrant parents who worked nonstop, health, stress management, and nervous system regulation weren’t things that were role-modeled for me. I had to learn so much of that in my 20s and 30s, but I always knew something felt off growing up.

Yoga truly saved my life.
Nature became my medicine. Learning about whole foods, where they came from, herbs, supplements, oils, and simple daily habits changed my life.

More than anything, I learned how to feel safe in my body and how to simply enjoy my life.

I wasn’t just born into good genetics. I was born into fight-or-flight, scarcity, working until you get sick, diabetes, and a family history of health struggles.

So having these tools and choices is something I never take for granted. I like to think my ancestors are smiling that I get to live this way. ✔️
