Community service is the rent we pay for the space we occupy. If it's happening in Waterloo Region, I'm interested.

On September 10, 2025, we went to Waterloo Park, the same park we've been going to for more than a decade to walk together in the Walk to Make Cystic Fibrosis History. Seemed like the perfect place to make @miz_farwell a "Mrs" and make single life "history." by @farwell_wr
Team Farwell. Official release, September 2025. by @farwell_wr
I'm a creature of habit who thrives on routine. That might be a character flaw, but it works for me. So, I can't help but get up every morning, check the day's headlines, and present them for you. And since I don't really have an official place to present them, I'm posting them on YouTube and Facebook. Please find me on either platform at "Farwell Between Shows" and follow along if you'd like! No pressure, no cost. Just a place for us to share information about our community. And I promise to only rant sometimes... by @farwell_wr
My interview with Mike Farwell is now available on YouTube. Election Day is Monday! Get out and vote! VoteMacGraham.com by @farwell_wr
What a great way to start Monday morning at Queen of Hearts Coffee and Tea House! Thank you, @farwell_wr, for the opportunity to talk about the upcoming municipal election. We are lucky to have you keeping Waterloo residents informed and engaged! I also had the pleasure of meeting my dear friend Mary Lou, Ward 6 Councillor. Wishing you all the best on your campaign. After more than a decade of bringing people together and building partnerships, I know that good leadership starts with listening, understanding concerns, and turning conversations into action. With just one week until Election Day, I'm more motivated than ever to bring my experience and dedication to Ward 2! Vote Asma Al-Wahsh for Ward 2 Councillor on October 26! by @farwell_wr
Enormous thanks to WR icon @farwell_wr for inviting municipal candidates to have an unscripted chat on his back deck. We have a shared goal of plugging folks into the municipal election and substantially increasing voter turnout which is exactly 3 weeks away! Election Day is October, 26, 2026. 🍁🗳️ I came prepared with Canadian maple tea from @lenjobakes new @kitchenerlibrary location - Mike has a strong brand of supporting local and to me it all ties into strengthening democracy. We had an absolutely lovely chat. There’s nothing like getting two folks who were born to yap together on a beauty fall day. And there truly aren’t coincidences, Mike was wearing a @lisaardinnisfree sweater and yesterday was the 16 year anniversary of my Gram Gee’s death at Lisaard House. Our chat will be gracing the internet this Friday, October 9th! Stay tuned for the link and be sure to follow “Farwell Between Shows” on Facebook. Thanks again for all you do to make #KWawesome, Mike! I appreciate ya. by @farwell_wr

Operation Good News. Something fun with @farwell_wr 📰 by @farwell_wr
Cottage: Time spent reading, listening to music, noticing the nature around us, eating way too much, drinking just the right amount, and getting my butt kicked by Farwell at Five Crowns. 😂 It wasn’t about forgetting the current BS or pretending it isn’t there. It was just about stepping away from it for a little while and giving ourselves some room to breathe. A change of scenery, good company, quiet moments, and time to slow down and appreciate what’s right in front of us. by @farwell_wr
Happy birthday to my husband! 1st year in the last 12 together with that title! ❤️ You are genuinely one of the most giving people I know. You give your time, your energy, and somehow you can never say no when someone needs you. I don’t know how you do it. You’ve been dealt a pretty shitty hand this summer, and as hard as things have been, you’ve continued to get up every day, keep busy, keep pushing forward, and keep doing good. I’m so proud of the way you keep going, even when life makes it pretty damn difficult. My biggest wish for you this year is that some of that goodness finally comes back your way. I hope the dreams you’ve been working toward come true, because if anyone deserves them, it’s you. Here’s to another year of laughs, questionable decisions, and me reminding you that you’re wrong even when you’re absolutely, 100% right. 😂❤️ Happy birthday, @farwell_wr I love you more than you know 🎂❤️ by @farwell_wr
With just 55 days to go, our excitement levels keep growing. Ticket purchases have rapidly increased by all of those friends who know Habsburg Haus at the Alpine Club is the place to be! Will you be there to join us for Oktoberfest 2025? #oktoberfest #kitchener #festival #music #countdown by @farwell_wr
