⁨ در یک فضای معماری، کف فقط پس‌زمینه نیست.
آدم‌ها روی آن راه می‌روند، مکث می‌کنند و بخشی از فضا را از طریق آن به خاطر می‌سپارند.

برای همین، کاشی دست‌ساز را صرفاً به‌عنوان یک عنصر تزئینی نمی‌بینیم.
طرح، رنگ، ابعاد و نحوه تکرار آن باید با معماری، حرکت و حال‌وهوای فضا هماهنگ باشد.

وقتی متریال از ابتدا وارد فرایند طراحی شود، دیگر چیزی نیست که در پایان به پروژه اضافه شده باشد؛
به بخشی از هویت فضا تبدیل می‌شود.

در فضاهایی که قرار است ماندگار باشند، تفاوت را فقط ظاهر متریال ایجاد نمی‌کند؛
بلکه فکری است که پشت انتخاب و طراحی آن قرار دارد.

In a hospitality space, the floor is never just a background.

People move across it, pause on it, and often remember the space through the material beneath their feet.

This is why we do not approach handmade ceramic tiles as decoration alone. Pattern, colour, scale and repetition must respond to the architecture, the movement of people and the atmosphere of the space.

When material is considered from the beginning of the design process, it does not feel like something added at the end. It becomes part of the identity of the interior.

In spaces designed to last, what matters is not only how a material looks, but the thinking behind it.

نه درباره فرایند ساخت.

درباره خلق فضاهایی که در ذهن می‌مانند.

معماری با یک متریال تعریف نمی‌شود؛
با هماهنگی متریال، نور و تناسبات شکل می‌گیرد.

نقش ما تزئین یک فضا نیست؛
سهم ما، ساختن اتمسفری است که معماری را کامل‌تر می‌کند.

در خانه سرامیک فرزانه، هر سطح سرامیکی بخشی از زبان معماری است، نه عنصری جدا از آن.

گاهی کاشی فقط یک پوشش برای دیوار نیست.

می‌تواند به زبان اصلی یک فضا تبدیل شود.

در این پروژه، نقش‌ها و کاشی‌ها قرار نبود صرفاً بخشی از فضا باشند؛ قرار بود هویت فضا را شکل دهند.

صدها کاشی دست‌ساز و نقاشی شده با دست کنار هم قرار گرفته‌اند تا یک تجربه بصری پیوسته خلق کنند؛ جایی که هر نقش کوچک بخشی از یک روایت بزرگ‌تر است.

تمام نقوش به صورت دستی اجرا شده‌اند و هر قطعه تفاوت‌های ظریف خودش را دارد. همین تفاوت‌هاست که به فضا شخصیت، عمق و حس زندگی می‌بخشد

Sometimes ceramics are more than a surface.

They become the visual language of a space.

In this project, the tiles were not designed as decoration. They were designed to shape the identity of the interior itself.

Hundreds of handcrafted and hand-painted tiles come together to create a continuous visual experience, where every motif contributes to a larger composition.

Each tile carries subtle variations created by hand. These small differences are what give the space its character, depth and authenticity.

تراکوتا از آن متریال‌هایی است که هرچه زمان می‌گذرد، بهتر خودش را نشان می‌دهد.

شاید در نگاه اول رنگ و بافت آن توجه را جلب کند، اما دلیل اصلی انتخاب تراکوتا چیز دیگری است:

دوام.

شخصیت.

و نحوه حضور آن در طول زمان.

بعضی متریال‌ها با گذشت سال‌ها فرسوده به نظر می‌رسند.

تراکوتا معمولاً برعکس عمل می‌کند؛ زندگی می‌کند، تغییر می‌کند و بخشی از هویت فضا می‌شود

تراکوتا فقط یک محصول نیست.

یک فرآیند است؛ از خاک تا پخت و حضور نهایی در معماری.

Terracotta is not chosen because it is beautiful.

It is chosen because it ages well.

In architecture, some materials become more valuable over time because they develop character rather than deterioration.

Terracotta has been used for centuries not only for its warmth and color, but because it can withstand changing climates, daily use, and the passage of time while retaining its identity.

At Farzaneh Art Studio, we continue working with terracotta because it offers architects something increasingly rare:

A material that combines craftsmanship, durability, repairability, and a human connection to place.

The challenge is never simply making a tile.

The challenge is translating raw earth into a material that can perform in real architectural environments for decades.

From clay preparation to extrusion, firing, installation, and long-term weathering, every stage influences how the material will live within a space.

Good architecture is not measured on opening day.

It is measured by how gracefully materials age.

در بازسازی ، هدف پاک کردن گذشته نیست.

هدف این است که لایه‌های مختلف زمان بتوانند در کنار هم زندگی کنند.

در این فضا، کاشی فقط یک پوشش تزئینی نیست. بخشی از گفت‌وگوی میان امروز و دیروز است.

سنگ‌های فرسوده، رد مداخلات ساختمانی و کاشی‌های دست‌ساز، هر کدام بخشی از داستان این بنا را روایت می‌کنند.

به نظر ما، ارزش یک مداخله جدید زمانی بیشتر می‌شود که به جای رقابت با تاریخ، به دیده شدن آن کمک کند.

متریال نباید جایگزین تاریخ شود.

متریال باید به آشکار شدن آن کمک کند.

When a historic building is restored, the goal is not to erase time.

The goal is to allow different layers of time to coexist.

In this space, the ceramic surface was not used to conceal the existing structure. It was used to create a dialogue between old and new.

The aged stone, exposed traces of construction, and handcrafted tiles each tell a different part of the building’s story.

Restoration becomes more meaningful when new interventions respect what already exists rather than compete with it.

Materials should not replace history.

They should help reveal it.

⁨ ⁨ سرامیک برای جلب توجه نیامده؛ برای ایجاد تداوم آمده است.

در معماری، همه چیز نباید مرکز توجه باشد.

بعضی متریال‌ها وظیفه مهم‌تری دارند؛
اینکه بین فضاها ارتباط ایجاد کنند، حرکت را هدایت کنند و کیفیت یک پروژه را در طول زمان حفظ کنند.

کف یک استخر،
دیوار یک رستوران،
لابی یک هتل،
یا حیاط یک خانه.

سرامیک زمانی ارزش واقعی خود را نشان می‌دهد که فقط زیبا نباشد؛
بلکه بتواند در برابر رطوبت، استفاده روزمره و گذر زمان دوام بیاورد و همچنان بخشی از هویت فضا باقی بماند.

ما سرامیک را به‌عنوان یک پوشش نمی‌بینیم.

برای ما، سرامیک بخشی از زبان معماری است؛
متریالی که نور، حرکت، لمس و حافظه را به هم متصل می‌کند.
