خطوة جديدة نحو ربط التعليم باحتياجات قطاع الأزياء.

وقّعت جمعية الأزياء مذكرة تفاهم مع معهد رافلز للتصميم في الرياض، في إطار توسيع شراكاتها مع الجهات الأكاديمية المتخصصة، بما يسهم في تأهيل المواهب، وتبادل الخبرات، ودعم التطوير المهني في القطاع.

وتأتي المذكرة امتدادًا لجهود الجمعية في تطوير الكفاءات الوطنية وتعزيز منظومة الأزياء في المملكة.

A new step toward strengthening the connection between education and the fashion industry.

#PFA has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Raffles Design Institute Riyadh as part of its efforts to expand partnerships with specialized academic institutions, support talent development, facilitate knowledge exchange, and advance professional growth across the sector.

The agreement reflects the Association’s commitment to developing national capabilities and strengthening Saudi Arabia’s fashion ecosystem.

ضمن مبادرة #PFA_Talks، نظّمت #جمعية_الأزياء جلسة حوارية مغلقة بعنوان "الملكية الفكرية في قطاع الأزياء"، بالتعاون مع منشآت، وباستضافة أحد ممثلي الهيئة السعودية للملكية الفكرية، وبمشاركة مختصين وممارسين في القطاع.
وجاءت الجلسة بهدف تعزيز التواصل بين الجهات الحكومية والتنظيمية والممارسين في قطاع الأزياء، ومناقشة أبرز التحديات والاحتياجات المتعلقة بالملكية الفكرية، بما يشمل حماية التصاميم والمحتوى الإبداعي، ورفع الوعي بحقوق الملكية الفكرية.
وشهدت الجلسة نقاشًا مثريًا أسفر عن عدد من التوصيات والمقترحات العملية التي تسهم في دعم تطوير القطاع وتعزيز بيئته الإبداعية.

As part of #PFA_Talks, #PFA hosted a closed discussion titled "Intellectual Property in the Fashion Sector," in collaboration with Monsha'at and featuring a representative from the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, with the participation of industry experts and practitioners.
The session aimed to strengthen collaboration between government and regulatory entities and professionals in the fashion sector, while addressing key challenges and needs related to intellectual property, including the protection of fashion designs and creative content, and raising awareness of intellectual property rights.
The discussion concluded with practical recommendations and proposals that contribute to the continued development of the sector and support a more sustainable creative ecosystem.
