Bringing back this account because I’m tired of letting things die in my camera roll so here are a few things that have inspired me recently ✨

Starting off with this feather texture @ Tory Burch , LOVE

This fabric manipulation technique.! I used it in my graduate collection but i love the idea of using a vintage silk scarf as the top layer

Look 1 from my FMP “You don’t sound Polish”

Inspired by my Polish heritage and traditional dress. Look 1 takes the idea of a faded memory and translates it into a cut and slash textile. I cut out 5 layers to construct, a deep red for the lining and 4 thin lining fabrics, taking the colour palette from flower scans I made. I added braids to represent my theme of identity and braided scrap fabric to make the straps. Made from 5 dead stock fabrics.
