Today, my heart is especially with the Jewish people as we remember the lives taken on October 7.

As a men, a father, and a humanlovers, I can’t help but think of the families who are carrying grief that words cannot fully hold—the mothers, the daughters, the grandmothers, the children, and every loved one whose life was forever changed.
We remember the precious lives lost.
We pray for those who are still grieving.
And we stand firmly against antisemitism and hatred in every form.
Scripture reminds us, “The LORD is near to the brokenhearted and saves the crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

Today, we pray that the Lord would draw near with comfort, strength, healing, and peace. May His light shine in the darkness, and may His mercy speak louder than hate.

LIVES CHANGED BY JESUS — PAKISTAN

In Sindh, Pakistan, people who did not know Jesus heard the Word of God, and their lives began to change. They opened their hearts, accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior, and surrendered their lives to Him.

God is touching hearts, breaking chains, and setting people free. Many are finding new hope, peace, and a new life in Christ.

Christians in Pakistan can be arrested and face the death penalty from anyone who decides to accuse them of blasphemy against Islam or Muhammad.

This happened to Amir Masih, a Christian man living in Gujranwala, in Punjab Province.

Amir was accused on August 10 by some Muslim men of circulating a Christian video on social media that they said, “included Christian and Islamic religious imagery and Punjabi-language content that they regarded as offensive.”

The police arrested Amir on August 11 and he remains in jail on unsubstantiated charges.

A human-rights group said “an angry gathering formed following the allegation and that threats were directed toward Masih, his relatives and their property. Some Christian families reportedly locked their homes and temporarily left the area because they feared violence.”

Heavenly Father, we pray for the release of Amir Masih on these false charges. May the truth come out. May he receive good legal representation. Protect him and his family from harm. Give them wisdom about where to live and what to do in the coming days as they face hostilities in their village. Provide for their needs. We ask that the authorities will realize they have no concrete evidence and will drop the charges. Bring those who made these false claims to account for their actions. Be glorified in Pakistan and strengthen the believers there who endure daily persecution for following Jesus. In Your great name we pray. Amen.
