London's largest ultra-rapid EV charging hub is officially happening. 🇬🇧

Together with our join venture partner @placesforlondon (TfL's Property Company), we're bringing 36 ultra-rapid 400kW bays to Hanger Lane, Ealing.

Capable of adding up to 160 km (100 miles) of range in just 5 minutes, powered entirely by renewable energy.

Opening early next year, the hub will also feature retail space, restrooms, benches and a playground; a welcoming stop for drivers, families and the local community alike.

A D | How are we all coping with the back to school routine?

I don’t know about you but I feel like I’m busy from the second I wake up, but somehow there’s still another load of washing waiting at the end of it.

With two kids, work and everything in between, our days are pretty much non stop, so anything that makes life feel a little easier is a win in my book.

One thing I’ve been really impressed by since going electric is just how easy ultra rapid charging can be. A quick stop with @fastnedcharging can fit into the day rather than feeling like another job that needs organising.

One less thing on the never ending mum list.

@fastnedcharging J’ai parcouru plus de 4200 km lors de ce road trip, et une grande partie de mes recharges s’est faite sur les stations Fastned.

Et franchement, je peux vous confirmer qu’il est totalement possible de voyager uniquement avec le réseau Fastned, et surtout sans avoir besoin de quitter l’autoroute. Les bornes sont fiables, rapides, bien réparties sur les grands axes, et les stations couvertes permettent de recharger à l’abri de la pluie comme du soleil. Un vrai plus, surtout avec les conditions météo de ces dernières semaines ☀️🌧️

Bravo à Fastned pour avoir déployé aussi rapidement son réseau en France et dans les pays voisins. C’est exactement le genre d’infrastructure qui facilite les longs trajets en voiture électrique. ⚡️🚗

We loved welcoming the The Green Fleet ‘Mythbusters’ EV Rally to our Newcastle Airport station near Callerton Parkway Metro station in the UK yesterday. 🇬🇧⁠

17 teams stopped to recharge during the 1,600+ km (1000+ miles) challenge, with 12 ultra-rapid charging bays delivering up to 400kW, plus pizza and music for the teams. 🍕🎶⁠
