Screaming / crying / spending money on chocolate and vanilla in an irresponsible way all for the love of the treats! After holding on to this idea for years, writing two books and learning a lot about writing and recipes, I’m finally able to announce I’m working on another one covering the subjects that consume my dreams: CHOCOLATE AND VANILLA. Much thanks to @knopfcooks and @nicoletourtelot for believing in me! Prepare to be dazzled by two of the greatest ingredients in the universe.

Fat + Flour was founded by LA baker Nicole Rucker, who won four awards at the 2012 KCRW Good Food Pie Contest before opening the shop. It originally started as a stall at Grand Central Market in 2019 before expanding to its Culver City café.🥧✨ Their pies are seriously good, but the Banana Cream Pie is a must — creamy, rich, and so satisfying 🍌🤎
Definitely come for the pie — and don’t leave without trying the banana cream!
