Looking with new eyes at the home I grew up in and spent my most formative years at. My usual partners in crime, Dida and Mama are no more and their voices echo everywhere. This whole space used to look incredibly big as a child, and I cannot say that much has changed now that I have grown up. The people have gone and the space feels larger than ever.

This also happens to be the terrace where Dadu and Mama used to photograph me throwing stones at their camera. Life comes a full circle while I do the same 25 years later :’’)

Cash Only please, as the sirs of the place have made it VERY clear😮‍💨

Yesterday @the_caffeine_story and @peeeesto._._ dragged me to a “khele chhitke jabi” place and by a chance of events, I also happened to have my camera with me. Couldn’t help but film this inspiring space which had tooo many good frames. Would be a shame to miss!

Last month I could fulfil one of my most cherished childhood dreams- to paint a lake with its own water.

The feeling is surreal because even when the paint has dried up, you’d still be carrying with you a part of what was once a huge lake some thousand miles away.

And this thought-
instead of rooting you to a place, it breaks your anchor and liberates you.
Recommend everyone to try it! 🫰
