I love being on a business trip and seeing live music. And seeing these guys made my day! First hearing them in the summer of 1990, and seeing them in 1993 (w Ride), 1994, 2002 (w Starsailer), 2023 (w Ride), and now tonight in a fantastic small and intimate venue, it’s just all coming full circle! Brilliant show! taken in Fine Line by @fatherfod

Made it to see @celesteboursiermougenot ‘s “Clinamen” at @parkavearmory before it closes this Saturday. A relaxing way top off a workday by turning off and tuning in to sensory sound. Thoroughly enjoyed it in this special venue as well! taken in Park Avenue Armory by @fatherfod

A beautiful day with friends and chosen family celebrating a dear friend’s art opening in a very special and historic place… one of the beach cottages in the forest on the beach between Fire Island Pines and Cherry Grove. Congratulations, @chrisbogia on an epic solo opening and kudos to @heavymetalcurator and @donzella_ltd for a perfectly curated show. Oh and the hot pot on the way back to the city was the topper to the day! taken in Cherry Grove, Fire Island, NY by @fatherfod

Touring Mary & Russel Wright’s Manitoga House yesterday was amazing! A masterpiece in early modernist architecture built with nature in mind inside and out the domicile. So cool! taken in Manitoga / The Russel Wright Design Center by @fatherfod

So great to kickoff Summer in Scandinavia… between last week in Sweden and this week in Denmark, it’s such a fitting transition from Spring and cooler than NYC at this time of the year. Heading back home on Saturday, but now that this has become a tradition over the last 4 years, I think it’ll remain that way! taken in Copenhagen, Denmark by @fatherfod

Staying on a houseboat in Copenhagen… recognize it?! It’s the houseboat from The Bear episode, season 2 set in Copenhagen. So thankful we could rent this special place for Scandinavian summer and share it with our two special Swedes, @ taken in Frederiksholms Kanal by @fatherfod

These four—five if you count in our Anamaria, who couldn’t join us—we have been through marriages, divorces, births, deaths, celebrations, sorrow… talk about my ride or die! Next year, we will have known each other for 50 years… truly something special! I love them more than words can say. taken in Brooklyn, New York by @fatherfod

Another wonderful Passover Seder with my mother-in-law, family & friends! Chag Sameach Pesach! ✡️ Celebrated with two amazing bottles of wine we picked up last year in Europe: @chateaufaugeres Saint-Emilion Gran Cru Classé from Saint-Emilion in the Bordeaux wine region of France and @matuskowinery Dingac from the Peljesac Peninsula wine region in Croatia. A beautifully curated exhibition of two Swedish artists at @hb381gallery in Tribeca; 1) Eva Zethraeus’ whimsical and fun ceramic sculptural pieces combined with Camilla Iliefski’s ethereal hand tufted & woven wall tapestries are a delightful paring. Kudos to HB381 and these truly gifted artists!
