Nothing beats a chilled bowl of Phirni after iftaar 🌙🤍

Creamy, lightly sweet, and infused with cardamom, topped with crushed pistachios for the perfect finish ✨

Such a simple dessert but always a favourite in our home…
Save this recipe so you can make it too! 🫶🏼

Recipe

- 4 Tblsp Tastee Wheat/Semolina
- 4 Tblsp Condensed Milk
- 4 Cups Milk
- 2 tsp of crushed almonds
- 1/2 tsp ground cardamom
- A few drops pink or green coloring
- 155g dessert cream

- Make a paste with half cup milk and the Tastee Wheat.
- Bring rest of milk to boil.
- Add paste to milk and stir until thickens.
- Add condensed Milk and ground almonds.
- Remove from heat and cool completely.
- Add cream and colouring
- Pour into dessert bowls and decorate with crushed pistachio or as desired.

We say we place our trust in Allah…
Until....
Life stops cooperating.
Until...
The timeline stretches.
Until...
The silence lingers.
Until…
What we hoped for doesn’t arrive when we thought it would.

That’s when trust stops being something we say and becomes something we have to practice…

🔁To keep turning back to Him
when clarity is missing.
🔁To keep choosing gratitude
when the picture is incomplete.
🔁To keep showing up in faith
without guarantees.

Maybe tawakkul isn’t about peace of mind…
Maybe it’s about remaining open-hearted in the middle of uncertainty...
