As they prepare to take to the Abu Dhabi Festival stage this October, Emirati opera soprano @fatialhashmi and @nouraalmazrouei qanun virtuoso are redefining what it means to carry culture through music.

On the occasion of World Music Day, the two artists reflect on their journeys and the role music plays in preserving tradition while shaping the future.

A powerful story of creativity, identity and the evolving voice of Emirati culture.

🎭✨ VIVA MOZART! — An Evening of Mozart Arias & Ensembles ✨🎭

Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Opera Theatre: nothing was more congenial to Mozart than the theatre, as he himself understood very well, while his young blood boiled with passion and enjoyment during the long years spent in Naples and Venice in Italy.

Mozart was a musician with an immense theatrical force, a visionary storyteller, a master of human emotion. No limits, no rules.

His music breathes, laughs, cries, frighten, seduces, questions, and transforms.

He was, in every sense, poliedric: composer, dramatist, actor, philosopher of the stage.

And because Mozart contains multitudes… one voice is never enough.

That’s why we prepared a very special concert dedicated to Mozart where you will meet many characters and many singers.

🌟 Five Voices, One Mozart 🌟
A kaleidoscope of characters and emotions!

💫 Emirates Opera Company
Our Vision

We would like to promote and celebrate local artists living in UAE and we would like to nurture emerging voices.

We would like to bring high-quality operatic music and culture to the UAE.

If you love Opera…
Please join our community!

Opera as education.
Opera as group experience.
Opera as a living organism made of people.

🔥 Mozart reminds us:
We are many things at once, we don’t have boundaries. We are free, independent and extraordinary.

There is a little bit of Mozart in every of us. 💓🎶✨🌈🎭

We are contradiction, beauty, drama, and truth.

From a personal dream… to a national voice.

Today, I stand as a narrator with the UAE National Orchestra,
in what I consider a defining milestone in my artistic journey.

To contribute to shaping my country’s cultural landscape is not only an honor, it is a mission I have believed in and worked toward for years.

This is only the beginning
