In order so solve that easel problem, I designed and manufactured an easel which has different separate areas to store each and every art material i.e. it has two holes to put glasses in (for water, brushes and painting knives), there are holes on the sides of the mainframe to put brushes, there's a clip to hold tissues, there is a rod to hold acrylic tubes and the rest of the things like mixing pallettes etc. can be placed on the board.
.
Moreover, it's easily foldable and is super portable, and weighs only 3.4 kgs, when an average easel weighs about 13 kgs.
.
Aannddd it has intricate patterns carved on it's wooden board, inspired from different diverse art styles which I'll show you in the next post...
.
Tell me what do you guys think about it in the comments below...

So this was originally drawn by @mohammadsamrez , and I was intrigued by the idea therefore took it as a #drawinyourstylechallenge. Swipe left to see his drawing. Here is his explanation of the idea...
.
"The background naturally represents the dimension of space time, the dimensional Arena where the cosmic dance is undertaken.
However, the interesting part is the orientation of the arms.
As you can probably see, the downward facing sleeve has inscripted upon it certain mathematical equations, which actually are parts of relativity and Schrodinger's equations of quantum mechanics. Basically this means that the downward facing arm, that points conventionally toward the earth, summarises the laws of the Earth and the base laws of material plane.
Though, those same expressions can be pronounced in divine terms, thus the most simplest phrase of our faith 'Bismillah', inscripted on the arm that points to what is above, figuratively, the laws of the beyond."
.
I would also like to share a couplet here, written by Usman e Harooni, which I associate with the whirling dervishes;
سراپا بر سراپائے خودم از بیخودی قربان
بگرد مرکزِ خود صورتِ پرکار می رقصم...
.
Another thing I would like to add to it's theme is the concept of "مراقبہ". It's a concept in Sufism where intense meditation leads to your soul becoming strong enough to free itself from the restrictions of time and space. As illustrated above, the dervish is drawn in a way that it looks a bit 3-D, that describes him as sth "beyond" the geometric background; space and time.
.
This is absolutely one of my favorite projects I've ever done, and I'm totally in love with the idea and the credit, ofcourse, goes to @mohammadsamrez. Make sure you guys check out his blog for more thought provoking stuff. Link in his bio.

The human brain has two parts; the left brain and the right brain. The left part deals with logic, maths and linear thinking, and the right part deals with stuff like emotions, visualization and holistic thinking. In other words, we may say that the left brain deals with STEM subjects, and the right brain deals with Art subjects.
The drawing shows a brain where both sides of the brain look as if they were getting mixed into each other. It implies that Art and Science go hand in hand. As DaVinci says "Study the art of science and the science of art".

Here is Part 2 of the CAD model for the Healing studio I designed. I forgot to add a very essential element while making this. Can you find out? Lemme know in the comments below🥲

Here is the first CAD model I've ever made. The project that I took this year was related to Graphic Products which is one of the branches of Design and Technology; a subject that I am studying in A-levels.
.
I designed a studio space where my client can practice various medical/ metaphysical disciplines she is qualified in i.e. Gem Therapy, Reiki, Yoga, Qigong, acupuncture, cupping therapy and Chinese medicine. The space should not only act as her creative space, but as a clinic as well, where the clients can come, and some of their therapy work is done just by being in that space.

Finally posting after ages. I started making this painting a couple of years ago in Ramadan. Added the final touches yesterday, and finally it's here. It's inspired from a nazm by my favourite contemporary shahyar; Gulzar. Here's the nazm. Enjoy!

Why this Design?
.
🔨 This workstation is made for professionals, thus, it has different work surfaces for different manufacturing processes.
🔨 The work surface with an ergonomic curved edge makes clamping and cutting easier. The rest of the workspace can be used for other processes that involve dynamic forces like doming, hammering, work hardening etc.
🔨 There is a slideable flame painted soldering surface. There are times when the flame torch gets hot, or you just end up touching the work surface with the flame that results in burnt surfaces. To make those burnt areas less prominent, the soldering surface was flame painted.
🔨 There is a separate drilling station where there is a bench press where any drill can be easily fixed. There is a drawer to store the drill shavings to avoid mess in the studio.
🔨 The black bars on the the top can be used to put LED lights to provide better lightning.
🔨 The black bars would be detachable in the actual product that would allow the workstation to be divided into three pieces, and could be arranged in any manner.
🔨 The soft board could be used to pin any inspiration/ mood boards etc. The whiteboard and blackboard would help organise the random creative ideas one gets while working, and a nice mirror always helps. There are also some clips to pin any inspirational stuff to the board.
🔨 There is plenty of storage space, unlike most workbenches. It has 9 notches for Dremels, burrs and handfiles l, 1 slot for hammers and mallets, and for the rest of the tools and materials, there are 11 drawers and 5 shelves, and some tools could be hung on the slideable mesh.
🔨 The storage options are designed according to the priority of usage; the equipment that would be frequently used would be stored in the drawers on the left.
🔨 The main workstation on the left has excellent accessibility. There is a vice, a slot, some notches, a few drawers and a slideable mesh, the boards, all within the reach of an arm span.
🔨 The aesthetic, of course!!

Here are some free-hand sketches of the initial ideas for the product. They did not need to be very detailed because they have to be further developed after all of them are evaluated and improved to ensure a better design.
