Dr. Metzner is a medical advisor and associate producer for ABC Studios, who notably worked on the set of Grey's Anatomy.

Our first annual #alumni #mentorship program is underway! Participant pairings were announced just under two weeks ago and we have already received wonderful feedback.

Thanks Karla and Mariah for sharing this screenshot of your first meeting!

We love seeing smiles on our alumni and student faces so if you're participating don't forget to send pictures to fauhonorscollegealumni@gmail.com. This program is about alumni and students so don't hesitate to include comments, questions, concerns, etc. by @fauhcalumni

The coronavirus pandemic has compounded chronic social justice struggles, affecting the physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing of minority and Hispanic communities at an alarming rate.

As we honor Hispanic Heritage Month, join Wilkes Honors College alumna Shell Persaud-Vasquez, MD ’04, WHC Professor of Psychology, Laura Vernon, Ph.D., and School of Social Work Professor Dr. Manny Gonzalez for a conversation about how our communities can cope — and even thrive — through these challenges. https://www.crowdcast.io/e/mental-health--community by @fauhcalumni

Calling all alums! Are you interested in mentoring a current student? If yes, sign up at the following link: faualumni.org/wilkes-honors-college-alumni-mentorship.

We all probably wish we had more guidance as budding undergrads. Now is your chance to not only give back, but also learn about all the exciting things the next generation of HC students are up to. taken in Harriet L. Wilkes Honors College of FAU by @fauhcalumni
