The gardens of Castello di Guarene are 18th-century Italian gardens, with sculpted topiaries, fountains and views over the Langhe and Roero hills, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. A setting that is already a spectacle on its own.

So I went against the obvious: no stiff arrangements, no flowers competing with the landscape. I chose burgundy and blush tones with touches of green that blended seamlessly into the garden. Organic, almost wild volumes, as if they had grown there.

For the tables: long, imperial, organically shaped, with tablecloths draped to the floor, giving the feel of a Renaissance banquet, elegant and unhurried. Silver candelabras and tall candles completed the scene. 🕯️

As night fell, we were gifted the golden light of the sunset, a pink sky and glowing candles, and everything became even more emotional.

Every detail was thought through. Thank you to the team for executing exactly what I asked for. 🤍

Light has always been part of our story.

Since 2008, Blunotte has grown through a constant pursuit of innovation, creativity and technical excellence, establishing its expertise in Lighting Design across Italy and internationally.

For us, lighting is never simply technical. It shapes spaces, reveals architecture, creates depth and transforms the way an atmosphere is perceived and experienced.

For this extraordinary event inside the Pavilion of Villa Erba, the entire Lighting Design was curated by Gianluca Brunelli, whose vision and technical expertise shaped the space through light, creating a completely immersive atmosphere.

This is only the beginning.
Over the next few days, we’ll take you deeper into this special project and reveal the details behind its creation.
